Outsiders Like Trump And Carson
One expects the struggle between the Establishment and the political interlopers Trump and Carson to be continually evolving as the Es attempt to destroy Trump and Carson.
A dodge that seems to be gaining currency is to depict the interlopers as political and social outsiders. Naturally this will involve the age old concept of divide and destroy. Pit the one against the other.
One fears, fear is a big issue in this election as ‘outsiders’ are said to be devoured by fear and loathing while the insiders are healthy, strapping lads and lassies although uniformly on the fey side, hey Leslie?
The ‘insiders’ should tread lightly as they are a distinct minority compared to we ‘outsiders’. Insiders care nothing for those not inside their clique and none of us are close to being insiders. None us get thirty-five million dollar bonuses while the economy is circling the drain. None of us get tens of millions in salaries in addition while millions of outsiders go unemployed. Who do the Insiders think they are kidding?
Why should we vote for their candidate so we can be fleeced some more. And we are being fleeced. Trump has the courage to say so. Never forget, his life is now on the line. If he doesn’t succeed he is a dead man.
Actually the Insiders are condemning themselves as being more outside the voters than the Outsiders they condemn. We the people are all outsiders compared to the miniscule group of selfish Insiders. None of us are inside. None of the Insiders are our friends.
Why vote to be enslaved by Insiders for their profit when we have a perfectly good Outsider in Trump?

America Made A Wrong Turn
R. E. Prindle
Contrary to over a hundred years of American history writing industrialists were the innovators while socialists, Communists and Progressives were the reactionaries unable to adjust to innovation. It is time to set the record straight. It was a very serious error when the reactionary agents forced the breakup of the Standard Oil Co. and the trusts. Contrary to the fearful notions of men like Louis Brandeis and Woodrow Wilson small companies are not more efficient than big companies. It is quite the opposite as John D. Rockefeller proved when he brought order out of the chaos of the emerging oil industry. Unfortunately the reactionary ideal of smallness was to forestall the future and cripple America. A second major error perpetrated by historians over the same last hundred years or so is the notion that innovators who became wealthy impoverished the majority by ‘owning’ the wealth. Using that notion as a starting point let us briefly review the progress of the nineteenth century concentrating on the US. The distance between the founding of the US in 1793 and the nineteenth century seven years later is immense. The US was founded at the very tail end of the post-medieval world. Between 1793 and 1800 a whole new psychological outlook came into existence, a change in scale. The world was seen with completely new eyes as the Aryan intellect began the remarkable unfolding shouldering the post-medieval world aside.
While in Europe there were two thousand years or more of continuity by 1800 the US was a virtual tabula rasa, a new beginning. Still, the US citizen moved to the ancient rhythms until very close to the Civil War. Scientific developments had been accruing in Europe and England for a couple hundred years and as the nineteenth century advanced the unfolding of the Aryan intellect virtually exploded. Discoveries in physics and chemistry were enormous resulting in steam, electricity, photography and at the end of the century a host of related discoveries that made the alchemists look like pikers. Reality had exceeded magic with much more to come. Not least of these was the invention of the railroad that would be the engine that drove industry in the nineteenth century. Prior to the Civil War numerous shortlines led from one city to the next but they were small easily comprehended operations that the average person’s mind could encompass while no truly large fortunes came into existence. To be a millionaire was nearly miraculous. There was ferment and excitement but the connection to the medieval mentality was not yet broken. However, as though a wizard had waved a magic wand, a new world began to form in the wake of the Civil War. It was a very rapid transformation from the village blacksmith under the spreading chestnut tree of Longfellow to the fabulous steel mills turning out hundreds of thousands of steel rails to carry the giant iron locomotives hauling a half mile of fully laden rolling stock of Carnegie. Suddenly there were great multi-millionaires, tens and even a couple hundred millions of dollars. It boggled the post-medieval imagination. Seeing only the millions the awed populace asked where those millions had come from. They hadn’t been there before. The only conclusion those overawed brains could come to was as there was only so much money in the world the rich had stolen it from the masses leaving them poor. This was a very serious error made more dangerous by the constant reporting that, say, five percent of the population owned seventy-five of the country leaving only twenty-five percent to be divided among the impoverished ninety-five percent. The idea of it rocked their senses. Soon they feared the ninety-five percent would be standing naked without two nickels to rub together.
Most of those very rich people had made their fortunes in railroads. To take then the first transcontinental railroad, the Union Pacific/Central Pacific as an example: the UP/CP was an enormous undertaking uniting the three thousand miles between the East and West coasts. Financing such an enormous undertaking was the problem. The whole idea of the stock company was new. There were no established rules, indeed, really, no one knew what they were doing. It was all done on the fly. Even the New York Stock Exchange was in its infancy, hence all the wild stories about Vanderbilt, Jay Gould, Jim Fisk and Daniel Drew. The period was probably the loosest the world had ever seen or could imagine. Laissez faire in spades until the industrialists like Carnegie, Roosevelt and J.P. Morgan began to impose order. So, before the UP/CP let us assume that the net worth of the US was X dollars in 1865. In 1869 with the completion of the two lines adding enormous value to the country what was the new value? X2? X3, X4, X5 or maybe X6? The wealth to be divided had been increased exponentially. The steel industry had gone from the village blacksmith to the enormous rolling mills of Carnegie steel. Steel wheels had to be made, hundreds of miles of rolling stock. Because the UP/CP went where only open vistas had existed the land was opened to settlement, acreage was available to all, working stiffs or not. Where there had been no millionaires there were thousands of millionaires. There were men with twenty or thirty million who had been penniless ten years earlier. While unskilled labor did less well than skilled labor or the white collar caste the US was still famed for paying the highest wages in the world. Why do you think they came, for religious freedom? No, no, it was the money. This was made possible by the development of the railroads and industry. One must understand the colossal reorganization of society that entailed. A mere forty-five years earlier Lewis and Clark had taken years to slog across the continent and back risking their lives in the process. By 1870 one could ride in comfort from NYC to San Francisco in a few days. This was a transformation of the way life was lived. While White society was sophisticated compared to that of the stoneage Indian through whose territory the roads were driven White society was still primitive compared to today. Financial institutions and knowledge of finance were in a raw state. True, the US government contributed hugely including millions of millions of acres of free land to the roadbuilders yet the railroads couldn’t have been built any other way. The financing had to come from somewhere. As there was no adequate financial system financing had to be done on the run. That is the money followed the added value not preceding it. Something, as it were, had to have been created from nothing. Looked at another way, twenty years after the gold rush with a huge Civil War intervening, the South devastated and under martial law, the Bay Area had been populated and the job was done. The University of California was created in Berkeley, and even Berkeley had been created, while Stanford was in the works. These were sensational achievements. After all, the Mexicans in their hundreds of years had built only a few Missions. While chronic fault finders such as the Jewish writer Gustavus Myers blackened the reputations of the creators and belittled their achievements the builders truly built well. And out of the building the result was unparalleled prosperity and well being for the majority if not for the less qualified few. The next question was the nature of bigness.
John Henry he said to his captain
Now, a man ain’t nothin’ but a man,
But before I let that steam drill drive me down
I’ll die with this hammer in my hand.
Die with my hammer in my hand.
Prior to the Civil War all was on a small scale. Longfellow could celebrate the village smithy under his chestnut tree and it’s a homely and pleasant image. Life was on a very human level unlike the life bigness would create that would require serious reevaluation of reality by the people. Carnegie steel mills with their regimented specialized work forces were a far cry from Longfellow’s blacksmith. In point of fact no blacksmith could compete with a rolling mill. The difference was magnificently told in the story of John Henry the steel driving man of song. As mighty as John Henry was he was no competition with a steam drill. He died of a burst heart with his hammer in his hand. Undoubtedly he was buried with his hammer beside him. Nothing pictures the industrial change so well. With bigness went organization such as was never seen before and consolidation that overawed the people in its bigness. The rather simple minded jurist Louis Brandeis who would be a major influence in the US government from Wilson through Franklin Roosevelt was an anti-bigness critic preaching the efficiency of smallness. Brandeis may or may not have been a wizard lawyer but he knew nothing of business or manufacturing.
It would seem that all America trembled before the sight of John D. Rockefeller’s Standard Oil, the most efficient business structure the world had ever seen. He created the model for what was to follow. The contest between what had been and what was was too great an adjustment for the human mind on such short notice. Remember this was happening just as the concept of evolution and the onset of modern psychology were also disturbing the human mind in a very profound way. Within a decade or so the whole of reality was turned upside down or upside right depending on how you look at it. This terrified those unable to make the leap from the horse and buggy mentality to that of the internal combustion engine. The ancient and the modern required two different mindsets. The transition has not yet been made by the majority. For instance, over half of the US population still… still rejects the concept of evolution. The casual imprecision of the horse and buggy mind set within its wide parameters of precision was replaced almost overnight with the need for precision with little or no tolerance for personal idiosyncrasies. Thus when Henry Ford introduced the precision assembly line utilizing the Taylor scientific measurement of motion among its system repeated for as long as an item came down the assembly line at a measured speed it was really too much for the sloppy horse and buggy mentality. The workers didn’t understand why their minds rebelled but their reaction was one of rejection. They were reactionaries as were those of the Wilson-Brandeis school who reacted negatively to the mere thought of bigness. In the coming global economy, which could be seen on the horizon, in which bigness was absolutely necessary, combinations or trusts as they were called were the wave of the future. While Wilson and Brandeis envisioned a country of locally sized or regionally sized at best circumstances called for nationally sized combinations preparatory to international or global organizations.
The industrialists led by J.P. Morgan were preparing for just that development. In other words Rockefeller was anticipating twenty-first century competitive circumstances. Indeed Ford Motors was a global corporation before globalism entered popular parlance. Bigness should have been encouraged rather than inhibited. The muckraking journalists propagandized the breaking up of Standard Oil, that is reducing it to smaller units and that was a very wrong turning. The ideal of smallness prevented the US from assuming its potential role so cherished by the reactionary Liberals as the savior of the world, the manifest destiny that George Bush tried to impose on the world by force. America made a wrong turn as the century passed. The bigness should have been understood and encouraged but perhaps the transition was so sharp that the American mind or at least the reactionary Progressive mind was paralyzed by fear at the sight of Leviathan or the Titanic while the really progressive minds of the Rockefeller type were caught up in a backlash they didn’t know how to resist. Yes, I know that the new truly revolutionary economic order had its faults but then model 1.0 to use computer terms is always less perfect than subsequent models. The bugs have to be worked out. In automobile terms one cannot expect Ford’s Model T, the best selling car of the era to compare to twenty-first century models of any make from the least to the most expensive. Things have to evolve.
Just as technology went from the horse and buggy state to assembly line production so the financial system was passing from a very primitive state through several changes of scale to a more contemporary stage. Forms had to be created to deal with the needs of each successive increase of scale. Before the Civil War the stock market consisted of a few dozen equities while the bond market was non-existent except for a few government issues. The number of shares in equities were not in the millions or billions as today. More of the order of a few tens of thousands, the excesses of cornering a stock or crashing it by short selling, price manipulation, was not prohibitively expensive so that in a laissez faire unregulated market what could be done was done. But as the scale of transactions increased so new rules had to be made with each increase in scale. When what could have been done could no longer be done, well, it wasn’t. As there was no existing plan of action, no sound economic theory, management of the economy had to be done on the fly. There were capable men to step in and bring order out of chaos. The leader who emerged was the now much reviled J.P. Morgan. Like Rockefeller and Ford, Morgan was a great man. At the time the economy and the government were two separate entities, interlocked but not merged. Morgan did a good job. Since the merger of the government and the economy nothing has improved, it has gotten worse. Under Morgan the national debt was non-existent while today the trillions of debt that government merged with the economy has created is pure absurdity. Anyone who thinks one penny of that debt will be returned is an amusing fantasist. As the scale of business increased so necessarily did the amount of currency in circulation. Thus when the Republic was founded money was scarce to non-existent, people at the most were land rich. There were no millionaires. With each successive change in scale more millionaires were created with, for the time a novelty, fortunes of two hundred million having come into existence. In today’s values that would represent billions, still fortunes such as Carlos Slim’s and Bill Gates mounting into the tens of billions are greater. The people having become accustomed to great fortunes are no long irate. Since the novelty of huge fortunes has passed the outcry against these accumulations is much muted. There an now hundreds of billionaires and nearly countless thousands of millionaires. When John Roskab in the twenties said that everyone should be rich his prophecy has been nearly realized. But, then, the thought of that much wealth in the hands of the few made grown men and women shiver. The idiotic response of the time was to take the money away from them; that is gang up on them under government auspices and steal it from them through taxation. This was done under Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the thirties and forties when tax rates shot up to the 90% range. Further, business was saddled with an ‘excess’ profits tax. Reaction is one thing but this was total criminal insanity while undermining the prosperity of the masses. Every time the scale of business bumped up the amount of money required to finance the new growth increased geometrically. If companies were not allowed to generate the increased need internally then it would have to come from the government or be borrowed from banks. In the move to destroy the old Morgan order, the new socialist order created the Federal Reserve to do what Morgan had done. Federal Reserve officers are appointed not made by rising to the top through competition. Hence under Morgan there was no national debt while today it is laughable to even talk of the debt. The pressure is still against bigness and wealth creation. Hence America has been castrated in the now newly created global economy. America cannot now be the leader. The jump in scale is now enormous while the amount of capital to bring the global economy into existence is totally lacking. The global economy is now in the same state as when the necessity to build the transcontinental UP/CP railroad was made but the means of financing it were virtually non-existent. Then the US gave the railroad men millions of acres to open up settlement of virgin lands allowing a sort of boot strap operation; today the only recourse is to print money creating an even greater debt than can never be repaid. It’s like, why even joke about it? Meanwhile from the transition from the Morgans to the Federal Reserve the US government is in such an insolvent position that it cannot even collect enough taxes to meet immediate expenses. Hence it is in the position of increasing the national debt by more trillions each year. Thus it was a sorry day for posterity when our forefathers were overwhelmed by the face of success and began the retreat to failure. The US gave up its preeminent role in the world even as it achieved it. The moral is, think big and rich not small and poor.

Great Groupies Of The Sixties Series
One of the more vexing problems of biographical writing is that of Time and the River. According to Einstein Time is the Fourth Dimension and the River according to all the most august novelists is the course of one’s life. Marcel Proust managed to get both constructs into his novel In Remembrance of Time Past but I want to consider them separately here.
Not to be cantankerous but as to Einstein’s designation of Time as another dimension I cry: au contraire. Einstein was not the firstto consider the nature of Time, nor, I hope, the last. In fact not the last as here I am. I have nothing new to add for in this day and age the table is already set. Before Einstein, quite some time before, the social construct of Time had been a topic of dinner talk. There is some evidence, for instance, that Einstein was influenced by the English novelist H.G. Wells. Wells himself was just discussing a topic that had been under consideration for a decade or two.
Back before Time began when life was just a continuum punctuated by obvious things like seasons man, in his primeval primitiveness, wasn’t overly concerned with the passage of Time, probably didn’t even think about it. Certainly not as it is now understood. But needing to know such things as the timing of bird and animal migrations our ancestors looked around for a convenient starting point to calculate those appearances. It was there, as it had been before this beginning of Time.
Nothing was more obvious than that there was a tremendous war waged annually (a foreign concept at the time) between Light and Darkness. These two items may be the beginning of man’s social construct of Time. For half the period the Prince of Darkness seemed to keep driving the Prince of Light back toward extinction as the days grew shorter; then miraculously when the days were shortest, nights longest and cold increasing, the Prince of Light drove the Prince of Darkness back. The Unconquerable Sun had won another round.
In Greek mythology this battle was portrayed as Castor, the savior, shooting an arrow toward the summer solstice while his twin who is portrayed as a boxer fought a tough battle backtracking across the ring until Castor came to his rescue with his bow and arrow.
Gradually it dawned on our ancestors that this two part battle was a year, hitherto unrecognized. Time of a rough sort came into existence. Having pinpointed the shortest day in the year and after having discovered counting to a hundred or more our ancestors could count from the Sun’s victory (December 21, by our reckoning) to the returning avian migrants and other beasts to prepare themselves for some fresh food.
Our Old Ones created some marvelous prognosticators like Stonehenge further developing the concept of Time. To make things easier they made rough divisions of the day defined by the place of the Unconquerable Sun in the sky. Running through inventions like sun dials and water clocks we eventually arrived at the stop watch and marvel of marvels- the Atomic clock.
By the end of mid-nineteenth century then the burning question was how to define Time. It had become complicated apparently. Was there an objective entity that is corporeal or was Time just an intellectual construct to manage our daily and annual affairs which we had reduced to hours, minutes and seconds, today glorying in the nanosecond.
Until the birth of Jesus there was no convenient way in which to track the progression of years. Than a forward count began in the year one, which is actually tens of thousands of years after the prototype came into existence, until now we have arrived at 2014. In terms of negative numbers we can date back three or four thousand years historically and guess the rest.
That is all subjective time so the question is does objective Time, a Time that actually affects things exist? Wiser heads than Einstein’s existing before he gave his opinion answered no. Objective time did not exist. Camille Flammarion, a man as brilliant as Einstein in every way writing after 1860 demonstrated conclusively enough that Time had no objective existence.
Well, it might be said, people live for upwards of seventy years, isn’t that Time? No, that is the River. Everything has a beginning, a middle and end, a trinity. In living organisms the progression from beginning to end is the result of chemical reactions unaffected by an external agency such as Time.
Thus as with wine one has fresh new wine, mature wine at its peak and old wine going sour ending as vinegar. The difference between the first stage and the last is a series of chemical reactions. One confuses the issue when one refers to mature wine as aged- time had nothing to do with it, the method was chemical reactions occurring in sequence under conditions varying from poor to optimum.
So it is with the person. Development begins with conception comes to birth then follows a series of chemical changes and depending on chance and conditions the organism lives for perhaps a hundred year or maybe more. By years as a counting device one means revolutions of the Earth around the Sun. No Time involved. In former times years might have been expressed by the more primitive term summers. One lived seventy summers. Apparently those people had no concept of the year. Year being the more scientific embracing all the seasons rather than just summer.
Everything has a beginning, middle and end. This applies to political movements, styles and what have you. Although abstract things don’t have chemical reactions nevertheless their lifetimes follow a predictable course. If you are knowledgeable you can determine where in its life cycle a style or movement is.
I if have explained myself correctly I will now apply these concepts of Time and the River to the life of Cherry Vanilla or Kathie Dorritie as she known by her mother.
Kathie at this time is approaching the so-called age of reason, or thirty summers. She has led a wasted youth. Old acquaintances are giving up on her as her unsavory reputation precludes their associating with her. More and more she is sliding deeper into the netherworld of the lost souls of the Bohemian Village.
As ten or twelve years of younger fresher women have entered the river of life Kathie’s sexual desirability is waning. Chemical changes are altering her appearance. Never one to despair but now flailing about desperately seeking some driftwood on the river to keep her afloat she is recommended to Andy Warhol for a role in the London production of his play Pork. The play is beyond obscene, suitable for only the most degenerate while the female lead is degrading to the extreme. Who but the most desperate would have accepted it?
As this is the seventies Andy had died and been born again. Shot in 1968 by Valerie Solanas Andy had actually died on the operating table for a minute or two but was resuscitated. While famous as an artist Andy too had a terrible reputation. His atelier, the Silver Factory, his first, was shut down late in ‘67 when his lease was pulled probably because of his atrocious antics at the psychiatrists’ convention in January of ‘66.
He had just moved into the second factory when Valerie plugged him. While the Silver Factory had not been financially lucrative by 1968 Andy had been fortunate to have attracted some competent business oriented associates. Paul Morrissey had reorganized the film production to make it more commercial and profitable. Fred Hughes had set Andy on a portrait painting career that salvaged him financially.
Skillful associates such as Vincent Fremont who managed the financial end while Bob Colacello along with Hughes kept Andy on course although as flighty as ever, perhaps moreso being mentally affected by his near death experience. Andy kept an entourage of, shall we say, eccentrics while having shed the Silver Factory crew. So, in the seventies, if not actually more respectable, he was less objectionable.
Less is a relative term naturally as anyone who would produce Pork was not concerned with actual respectability. But times had changed, the River was murkier than ever. A few years earlier Andy would have been arrested for obscenity but now, in the seventies after A Clockwork Orange had been cinematized anything went. Deep Throat would be mainstream fare within a year or two.
Kathy appeared before Andy for an audition and, probably because there were no other applicants, was accepted. The play had already opened and closed far off Broadway so next stop London for its English premier.
This was a major turning point in Kathie’s life. Biologically she was transiting from youth to early middle age. The time is one of immense chemical reactions in the body as the track to death really begins. Although one might not feel it the period of growth or construction for the body has ended. Food becomes a fuel to maintain electricity rather than creating thus fewer calories are needed to sustain life. If you don’t cut back on caloric intake fat begins to accrue. You have to work harder to stay in the same place.
For the first time, at that age you can no longer pretend you are one with youth. Younger people appear different to yourself. A desperation seizes you if you haven’t begun to attain whatever success means to you. The future begins to look very bleak. Thus Andy’s offer of a nowhere role in his totally objectionable play seemed like a lifeline. However despite Andy’s wonderful reputation in Bohemia he was seen as a clown to the rest of society. Amusing but not to be taken seriously. Up to 1968 no one had profited from being associated with Andy with the possible exception of Gerard Malanga, Andy’s assistant and artistic double from the Silver Factory. Andy brutally cut Gerard loose sending him to Italy without adequate funds to get lost and abandoning him refused to send a ticket home.
As Gerard was as familiar with Andy’s methods as Andy himself he took the risk of screening a photo of Che Guevara and passing the screen off as a Warhol. It was in a way because of Gerard’s experience. At the very least it was a genuine Warhol-Gerard. Naturally no one could tell the difference. Gerard was successful in selling a few but rather than taking the money and getting the hell out he hung around long enough to be discovered. Repudiated by Andy he spent some time in an Italian jail for fraud limping back home after release.
Andy was not one for doing anything for anybody and the role of Amanda Pork was not a role to do anything positive for Kathie’s image, she now being known as Vanilla.
Just as the organism develops and declines so every cultural movement has its beginning, middle and end. As a cultural expression of the Depression and war baby generations Rock and Roll began in 1954 when Elvis began his ascent and Johnny Cash had returned from his Army tour of duty in Germany. From that beginning the records had developed and then crested sometime between 1966 and 1969.
The generation was coming of age, ready to move on to the next stage of life.
Actually the generation had reached its peak during the during the late sixties. The early baby boomers of the silver age, the seventies were entering into prominence but not with the universal acceptance of the two earlier generations. The seventies for the war babies was a period of greatest hits records, a rehash of the sixties, although a couple groups like Led Zeppelin held on but only through their 60s records as golden hits, classics, sold that well.
Fleetwood Mac who had existed in several configurations through the sixties and early seventies acquired Lindsay-Nicks as their front line and in a spectacular blaze of glory put a period to the rock and roll expression of the war baby generation. In fact the post-war world ended in 1978 when the war babies came of age.
Vanilla arrived in London just as the Punk explosion of those born in the mid to late fifties was about to disrupt the transmission belt to stardom of the war babies. The war baby crowd still ruled London and Vanilla was a war baby. Based on Warhol’s reputation that was probably bigger in London than New York the cast of Pork was the toast of London that summer. Their rehearsals over, the play, such as it was, was revealed.
Unless you were a pervert, a dedicated one, there really wasn’t anything in the play for you and little if you were. After the Warhol crowd had come and gone the audience dwindled to nothing. The actors were out of luck no longer toasts of the Hard Rock Café.
To top it off Vanilla had been as disillusioned with Warhol as Gerard Malanga had been. Having sacrificed whatever reputation she had by appearing in Andy’s abomination, at the opening night party Andy hadn’t even deigned to congratulate her, ignoring her completely, not even acknowledging her presence.
I would imagine Vanilla was completely devastated, even more than she indicates. Her big chance, her salvation was come and gone. That was it. She was now adrift in Europe with no direction home. The cast was given the option of a plane ticket to New York or the cash. With nothing to return to New York for Vanilla took the cash abandoning London for Paris until her scant funds ran out then returning to London.
But, wait a minute, all had not been lost. During her summer of glory as the toast of hip London, among others of the Rock royalty, she had met the baby boomer David Bowie and his spectacular wife, the ex-pat American, Angela. Angela had been impressed by Vanilla and Bowie always a marginal performer, was about to get as close to the center as he ever would. That would entail invading the US, New York, LA, all that glitter. Vanilla became useful because if she knew anything, she knew New York.
Thus we move along to Chapter V- Hot Times In The Old Town.

The Sixties And The Negro Revolution
Terraplaning Through The Ozone
The question to be asked was and is how solvable is the Negro problem? The answer is, I’m afraid, that a solution is not on the horizon. There is no question that there is racial aversion on both sides. For whatever reason Whites prefer not to address the problem from a historical or biological basis or, in fact, any reasonable basis.
In point of fact historically the Negro kills or absorbs any alien people as through interbreeding the Negro type ultimately prevails. In Africa where the Bantus and Nilotics moved South from the Sahel where they originated they drove out or exterminated the Bushmen. The last of the Bushmen took refuge in the Kalihari desert where they survived for several hundred years. The Bantu have now rounded up the Bushmen removing them from the Kalihari where the Bantus say that they are ‘a burden on the land.’ In other words the Bushmen are being exterminated.
As the Bushmen were being driven South, about the year 1000 the Malagsy from Borneo were being transported to South Africa and Madagascar by their enemies from Bali. That was just as the Bantu Shona people were arriving from the North. The two people met in what is now called Zimbabwe. The Malagasy founded the kingdom known as Monomotapa that extended down into the current State of South Africa. It was they who built the structures of Zimbabwe.
Warfare raged for hundreds of years until in the nineteenth century just before the Aryans arrived the last of the mainland Malagasy were stamped flat, in Zulu terminology, exterminated to a man, genocide as the West would say and their settlements razed.
About the year 1500 Europeans began to arrive and populate the area. They eventually built great modern cities that were foreign to the Zulu and Shona peoples mindset, like Salisbury and Johannesburg. In the last few decades the Bantu and Shona in Zimbabwe were given the ‘State’ by the Western powers. Whites were then killed or driven from the country according to Bantu custom so that today there are no longer White Zimbabweans. Salisbury like the structure of Zimbabwe itself is an empty deteriorating shell.
Further South in the State of South Africa Whites were compelled by their ignorant brethren in Europe and the US to surrender their country to the Bantus. Those who have not yet fled the area are being slowly exterminated while the cities and other infrastructure are turning into ruins.
In the US that country is being surrendered to the Negroes by the Whites. Already Detroit is not only in ruins but square miles have returned to the wild. Other major cities which were deeded over to the Negroes at no charge such as Philadelphia, Memphis, Newark, Birmingham, Baltimore and a host of others are sinking into ruins with only essential services maintained by Aryan personnel and money.
Comically the watching youth of Japan recognizing the transfer of power from the Aryans to the Negroes are now beginning to imitate the Negroes rather than the Whites.
The Negroes are establishing themselves as an elite group supported by the Aryans, slaves in all but name. If you can’t see this then you willfully refuse to.
What then did Supreme Court justice Earl Warren and his fellow judges see? On what basis did they make the decision of Brown vs. The Board of Education of Topeka? Don’t give me the Constitutional stuff; that’s just an excuse a justification. The same Constitution that required Dred Scott returned to his owner was used twenty years later to require him to be set free. Not exactly clear cut wouldn’t you say?
The law is of no relevance in the Brown decision, it was a decision made on the prejudices of the justices. Separate but Equal had previously been justified by the Supreme Court and now based on the same Constitution the decision was reversed.
What prejudices, rather than law, then motivated the justices of the Supreme Court?
The Chief Justice, Earl Warren, a former governor of California was an extreme leftist Liberal much despised in California notwithstanding that he was elected by a majority of the people. Still, his appointment to the Court was done over strenuous objections. The prevailing social opinion at the time was still what is called The Melting Pot. The concept of Multi-culturalism and Diversity would officially replace it following the 1965 immigration bill. Thus it was believed that the lack of Negro achievement was caused by discrimination. It was thought as a cause that per capita spending on Aryan students was greater than that for Negroes so the difference in intellect was just a few dollars and for a few dollars more excellence could be purchased.
The idea was that if Negroes went to White schools where the Big Money was being spent then the per capita expenditure would make them A students. Not that for the same money all White students were made A achievers.
By that line of reasoning then Separate but Equal was a misnomer. Never mind that the per capita spending for Aryan students in the nineteenth century was well below that spent on Negroes in the twentieth. Logic did not enter in.
Nor was it taken into account that Negroes did no better in the integrated Aryan schools of the North and West than they did in the South which was the only place in the country that segregated schools were.
So the Warren Court that was after all composed solely of exceedingly well off lawyers with little or no anthropological or sociological training was deemed competent to judge the relative merits of the two species or races, if you will. The Courts judgment was based entirely on emotion and their particular interpretation of the Constitution at that particular moment in time. There can be no doubt that fifty years earlier that would have decided for Separate but Equal as, indeed, their counterparts of the time did.
The question then really was whose rights take precedence over the other. The Court’s decision that favored Negro rights while suppressing those of the Aryans was put into effect by military force. This was also done solely from the point of view of the then White government without considering the Negro point of view. They were just onlookers, no Negro was ever consulted, White Man’s law was just imposed and that law being Liberal law, that of a very small part of the White population.
As we will see, by 1966 in NYC Negroes were actually defying the Court decision demanding Separate but Equal under the rubric of Community Control. Nothing is as it seems.
The demographics of New York City have been undergoing a rapid transformation since 1946. About a million and a half Whites had moved out of the city who were replaced by a million and half or so of Negros and Puerto Ricans. At the same time to total population remained the same. Also at the same time industry was vacating NYC. All through the sixties and seventies major companies were fleeing the city while manufacturing had collapsed.
Thus one had this very strange phenomenon where huge swaths of the city were vacant buildings while the changing demographics created huge slums while changing the racial composition of Bronx and Brooklyn while buildings were stripped of plumbing and wiring and set on fire leaving burned out hulks that made the metropolis of the US look like Dresden after the carpet bombing and fire storm.
For a graphic representation check out the movie Midnight Cowboy in which the locations are actual NYC. It was because of the abandoned buildings adjacent to the Village that lofts, that is entire floors of these buildings, could be rented for as little as fifty dollars a month. In California I was paying 125.00 a month for four hundred square feet or less. How I could have lived it up with 3000 sq. ft. or more for 75.00 less.
Huge tracts of NYC had then changed hands from an educated sophisticated class of Whites to uneducated Southern and Caribbean Negroes and Puerto Ricans who were unfamiliar with any of the trappings of big city civilization. Race or color has little relevance at this level of sophistication as how quickly could raw humanity adapt to the bright lights and big city. I mean, you know, it wasn’t all that easy for White farm boys, hoosiers or by whatever name they were known, fit it. At this moment in time large numbers of hill people were coming down to NYC, Chicago, Detroit and places where they too were treated as human garbage while struggling to find a place for themselves, any place. My own people came down from the Kentucky hills via Bowling Green to Michigan where the local clowns thought they might be superior to us.
The Negroes had an actual advantage, such as it was, as Whites considered them uninhibited exotics, free living savages without White hangups. Indeed, the Sixties were to be a golden age of the Magic Negro. Superspade in San Francisco and who knows what other names they went by elsewhere. Young girls and not so young girls threw their bodies beneath them. Nigger Heaven as it were. Of course, as a Negro you had to be quick on the uptake to collect your booty.
And, perhaps not so quick. Norman Mailer and his ilk loved the idea of Negro men screwing White women, so did Hollywood. Mailer actually had roles in his amateur movie for Black male, White female couplings.
In the Seventies and Eighties when White Libertines brought young girls to Studio 54 they got the young girls addicted to heroin and then forced them to go to Harlem to buy it. The Sixties were and the following decades were nasty times.
Whites really expected miracles from Negroes who they believed lived lives untrammeled by civilization. Instinctual, completely free from Freud’s inhibitions. They represented the White unconscious hence White infatuation with them. E. Michael Jones in his Libido Dominandi quotes Hannah Tillich, the theologian’s wife, concerning her and his trips up to Harlem where they enjoyed going native. P. 431:
We felt relaxed at Small’s [in Harlem] and returned there with our friends, grateful voyeurs, taking in the primeval charm of the hearty men and swaying women. We considered it an authentic show. We did not think at all in economic, political, or social terms.
Once we dared to go to a show in a basement where there were mostly Negroes. In the dancing space at the center of the room occasional performances were given. A nude Negress, painted gold, having danced with a Negro twice her size, leaned her body against a post and masturbated with violent snake like movements, while her former partner and another girl unmistakably performed the act of intimate sex. It did not seem vulgar or fleshy. It was filled with the natural vivacity of these beautiful black people.
People at the seminary did not think our adventures such a good idea….
I should think not. Fucking in public was not vulgar when done by blacks. That was just natural vivacity to these holidaying voyeurs. Paul and Hannah would obviously consider a French peep show flick pornography but beautiful exotic Negro women masturbating and a beautiful black couple fucking in the middle of the dance floor was not vulgar or fleshy. That was ‘natural vivacity.’ Perspective it’s all perspective. When is it legal to free a slave and when is it legal to keep him? A difference of twenty years.
At the same time Whites considered Jack Benny’s Negro servant Rochester, or Fetchin Stepit or Uncle Remus other sides of the natural Negro. Harmless, happy go lucky primitives. Nobody asked the Negroes what they thought of this. But the happy go lucky Shine was about to tell them.
Thus, as the Negro Revolution was shaping up in Bull Conner’s Alabam’ the Jewish Folk Scene in NYC was taking notice. Soon these Jews would arrive in the South to begin agitating with the Negroes. Let my people go… They were about ready to drive the wedge through the log splitting the US into warring factions.
Thus everyone’s attention was diverted toward the South where Bull and his dogs and fire hoses ruled, Mississippi where the callow youth Bob Dylan was advised to leave the State for reasons of health. He hit the ground running.
The North has been overlooked. Home base for the Jewish so-called Freedom Riders was Greenwich Village and its grubby streets and rundown buildings. The Negroes may have had it better down in Dixie. Somebody once said NYC may have been a nice place to live but it was one hell of a place to visit. To that I can concur.
The Village had always been home to US homosexuals and the off scourings of the streets of Europe. From afar the Bohemian life was attractive, perhaps for the same reasons the ‘beautiful Negro’ was to the Tillichs but the closer you got the worse it looked. In the early sixties drugs were rampant mostly pot and amphetamines but the ever present cocaine had its place along with heroin while Technicolor LSD was making its move. The folk scene that was mostly Jewish was in full swing.
The traditionalist folk singers and groups were a stone bore. Who, and I mean, Who could listen to the New Lost City Ramblers? Huddie ‘Leadbelly’ Ledbettor was big, well, within a small group, but all the guy did was pillage Carl Sandburg’s American Song Book while his grunt was unintelligible. That boy cleaned up though.
Then into this fetid mix stepped Bob Dylan who said: I always knew folk music was a shuck, so he slipped out of political protest into personal protest music as Andy Warhol interpreted it and all of a sudden all those impoverished folkies were rolling in money. Some of them were halfway good, too. Not many people prefer to listen to the Holy Modal Rounders or the Fugs but I like them. The best of the lot, The Lovin’ Spoonful, were stone great. If any group epitomizes the Sixties for me it is John Sebastian and the Spoonful. Peter, Paul and Mary were, of course, a smash in a forties kind of way along with those twits Simon and Garfunkel.
So anyway, into this happening scene the newly arriving Negroes and Puerto Ricans injected themselves and in a violent way. Crime and destruction on every side. The Aryans were unprepared. Up to the Sixties the US had been a violent, gang infested place. I mean you had to be alert during the fifties to avoid a beating and I’m talking from Whites not Negroes. They were called kicks by some, a hospital stay for others. It was a cranky country.
Then during the Sixties the Love Generation came in for a while there as the Chambers Bros. sang of Love, Peace and Happiness. You actually didn’t have to watch your back for a while. Those tough old gangbangers didn’t know what to do with themselves. It was kind of fun watching them trying to fit into the LPH mode. You could see them wandering around mouthing ‘What the fuck?’
It was better on the West Coast but even NYC colored a little bit, not much though.
So, there were a lot of zoned out Hippies wandering the streets of the Village. For some reason during the Sixties every kid who was ever going to run away from home did it at the same time. There were tens of thousands of thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen year olds loose on the land like locusts. Most of them girls who didn’t appear to have a clue and would drop and spread at the drop of a joint, a tab of LSD. Ask Charlie Manson. Where would he have been without the Haight. Of course he did make his name in LA but he got the Family together in the Haight. Ah, those runaway girls.
Just as an example I’m going to relate he story of a double murder in the Village when a gang of Negroes took out a couple of zippy, dippy Hippies. This is a tragic Sixties story that represents the era.
Groovy And Linda, The Uptown Girl And The Downtown Boy
She’s been living in her white bread world
I bet she never had a back street guy
I bet her mama never told her why
I’m gonna try for an uptown girl
She’s been living in her white bred world
As long as anyone with hot blood can
And now she’s looking for a downtown man
That’s what I am
This was a sensational story in 1967 when it happened, even receiving some national exposure. Billed as trouble in hippieland it can be seen as premonition of the Manson affair in ’69.
Linda Fitzpatrick was a quintessential uptown girl. Her father, Irving Fitzpatrick, was a spice importer, tea- the regular kind of tea. His daughter Linda, definitely privileged, had turned eighteen, graduated from private schools and was expected to go to university but she didn’t want to. She wanted to be an artist. (Yawn) Wanting to be an artist leads to Greenwich Village.
The Fitzpatricks had a home overlooking Washington Square in Greenwich Village as well as a more palatial home in Greenwich, Connecticut. What drew her to the poverty and perversity of the East Side was a mental state peculiar to the Sixties. Perhaps she was made to feel guilty about her privilege that rich kid activists at Berkeley’s Free Speech Movement complained about or the battle at Columbia.
In rejection of their privilege that sort all wore torn levis and weird clothes dug out of the Goodwill bins. They put on Bohemian airs.
There is no surprise that Linda picked up some rags, and I mean rags, and started to patrol the streets of Greenwich Village also picking up the odd stray downtown man. One of the strays she picked up was a guy named James ‘Groovy’ Hutchinson. Or perhaps Groovy learning that she was the true uptown girl slumming it realized his dreams by zeroing in on her.
In the spirit of the times the only name he needed was Groovy. He in turn hung out with a guy who adopted the name of Galahad. It was a stretch perhaps but maybe a lot of the kids hadn’t heard of the real Galahad yet.
These two perps were quintessential downtown slags. The type you did your best to avoid whether they were man or woman. Groovy was an illiterate, which doesn’t plumb the bottom, but in the spirit of the times illiteracy was considered a wisdom unobtainable, accurately enough, from books. No, this was the real wisdom. It was believed there was wisdom in the weed; if you smoked enough you would acquire not only wisdom but knowledge. You would even be able to tell a nuclear physicist a thing or two about nuclear physics. Heck, Einstein’s brain would shrink to the size of a pea before yours. ‘Words mean what I say they mean.’ Know what I mean? How could you fail?
As Donovan says it was the season of the witch, the day of the geek. All these characters just came out of the woodwork like a dormant seed in the desert the day after a freak rainstorm. Truly it was their day. There were thousands of teenage runaways coursing through the streets of the Village. A pervert’s paradise. Galahad and Groovy were in seventh heaven.
They ran crashpads which is to say they rounded up underage girls and took them to their pad at night. A perfect setup. Then that summer of love, ’67, when Linda showed up on the streets with abundant money for drugs or whatever she was easy pickings. They sold her acid and speed at exorbitant prices, sometime it was baking soda, why waste good drugs? Why not make it all profit? Even though nineteen, not exactly the age of reason but old enough, Linda didn’t care. She came from privilege so she gave away the expensive drugs to the poor kids who didn’t have any. Groovy noticed this White Bread girl looking for a downtown man and like the song he said ‘That’s what I am.’ They hooked up. Hippie star and society chick. Galahad knew Linda too. She thought the two just wanted to help poor wayward runaways. Boy, there was a mantra of the time: I just want to help people. That line was a bona fide that would open many a door
Even an old hand about the Village like Ed Sanders of the Fugs fell for it. Either Ed was naïve or he’s covering for something. Ed’s autobiography Fug You is where I first heard of this story. Yeah, ‘Fug You’. That’s how Ed titled his life. The subtitle is: An Informal History of the Peace Eye Bookstore, the Fuck You Press, The Fugs, And Counterculture In The Lower East Side. That’s what they used to call it: The Counter Culture. It was worth bucks to write about. Just let me say that Ed knows what he’s talking about. He was a major player.
For those who may be unaware of who Ed was he was the founder of the recording group, The Fugs, definitely a product of the Lower East Side while being more or less confined to those of a Bohemian twist of mind. Ed was a Catholic boy evidently trying to free himself from Catholic sexual repression and doing a pretty damn good job of it too.
Ed’s Peace Eye book store was his answer to San Francisco’s City Lights Bookstore run by Lawrence Ferlinghetti. His Fuck You Press published his own and the poetry of Bohemian poets such as Allen Ginsberg and a whole host of people you’ve never heard of. Poetry, so-called, was an essential means of expression for the Beats and their epigone. You can actually call up a You Tube video of Ed performing at a poetry reading that is pretty interesting. Gives you a little flavor of the times. If you really work at it on the web you can almost reconstruct the era. As a starter I recommend the site Ephemeral New York if you’re not familiar with that. Be sure to read the comments, it appears that all the commenters were there.
Ed ran a pretty loose ship at a time when loose ships were de rigeur. In 1967 Ed and his Fugs (originally accurately called the the Village Fugs) were at the crest of their success. They ran a cabaret show for a couple or three years that was very successful making them the toast of the Village if not the town or at least it’s more Libertine portion at least.
Ed ran out of time to run his book store so he turned it over to Groovy who he thought was ‘helping’ a lot of runaways with his crash pad. Groovy had no ideas what books were for being an illiterate so he chucked them and drew groovy pictures on the walls. Unless you were attuned to this sort of thing and thought it normal these were horror stories. I mean I was in the middle of this stuff trying to keep the horror at bay while trying to live in if not a white bread world at least one of cracked wheat.
Did I mention Groovy was illiterate? Imagine turning a book store over to an illiterate. Books. Oh, oh I’ve already said this. Well, it was just too astonishing for words.
Selling drugs made more sense to Groovy and those runaway young girls!
Anyway, Ed thought Linda and Groovy were prototypical Hippie lovers. He was rather astonished when he heard that bricks had been used to pulverize their heads in a dirty boiler room basement. It was worse even than that.
Linda had been reared in a proper environment. Yet, for some reason she had a cognitive disconnect, and she is representative. A switch went off in her brain and she had begun this dual life. Her parents had no idea or, so they said. Quite possibly her other life would have been impossible for them to imagine. She had taken a room in a transient hotel where she was living an abandoned sexual life. She told her parents she was rooming with a friend named Paula when it was a transient named Paul- and his friend.
Apparently the room was used as a crash pad or for orgies, same thing, because she had checked out first before her murder. When the manager went up to check the room he found it full of men and women doing drugs and sex.
On this particular night on the corner she boasted to an acquaintance that she was high on 1 ½ grains of amphetamines that she had paid the enormous sum of 10.00 for. She and Groovy continued down the street where they were accosted by four Negroes who either lured or hustled them into the boiler room.
Linda was screwed at least four times, once each, then she and Groovy had their heads smashed flat with bricks.
Possibly in 1963-64 it would have been safe to buzz around streets high on this or that. But, this was 1967, the age of innocence had passed. The character of the Village had been changing rapidly for a decade. The demographic mix had changed in the Village as it had in the city. Whites had vanished to be replaced by Negroes and Puerto Ricans. And these were angry Negroes with attitudes changed by the Civil Rights Movement. They were filled with hatred for the Whites. Nineteen sixty-seven was the Summer of Love for the White breads but the Long Hot Summer for the Negroes. Sixty-seven was the year they burned the US down. So imagine Detroit and New Jersey in flames as these four Negroes watched Linda and Groovy coming down the street. Philly in ’63 was the first great Negro insurrection I have heard of followed by NYC in ’64, Ocean Hill Brownsville in ’66 and ’67, LA in ’65 and a plague of insurrection in ’67 and ’68.
In the aftermath Detroit would disappear, square miles of smoldering ruins and the Renaissance Center with the sculpture of Joe Louis’ fist all that remained. In terms of square miles in total in that destruction of the infra-structure of the US it was probably more than half of any in the United Nations.
Did we care? Hell, no. I wasn’t even aware of the extent of the damage and I was a grad student at UOregon. I never even heard anyone mention it. It simply was not a topic of discussion and if it had been everyone but me would have been cheering for the Negroes.
In NYC the temperature had been rising since Suze and Bob strolled down Fourth St. Suze had introduced Bob to the plays and poetry of the very angry Leroy Jones, one of those ‘by any means’ Negroes who was advocating the murder of White America. The Negro boys took him up on it is ’67.
In 1966 began the Ocean Hill- Brownsville school riots. It seems as the Negroes had not been consulted on the Separate but Equal issue they were now making their wishes known. They wanted Separate but Equal schools and they didn’t want White teachers misinforming their kids. Separate but Equal needed a new name so they called it Community Control. Of course the NYC schools were in the hands of the Jews and the teachers in OH-B were Jewish teachers. The Negroes threw up barricades to keep the Jewish teachers out threatening them with grievous bodily harm. The Negro Revolution was in full swing.
One can almost hear Linda and Groovy pleading, ‘Oh, no, man. We think Black people are beautiful.’ Yeah? Well, smash.
Naturally the cops started looking for White guys while everyone prayed that the murderers would be White. They were disappointed.
As it turned out it was said that the killers were devotees of some Negro religious sect and these were ritual killings. That excuses it of course but the sect they were talking about was the Santeria religion. (Pronounced Santa-ree-a.) Santeria is a variant of the Yoruba people’s religion of Central Nigeria. Haitian Voodoo and Brazilian sects have the same origin. Santeria was endemic on the East Coast and it has multiplied since.
As far as Ed, the admirer of the Hippie lovers, went, he eulogized them but decided to move from the East Village to the all White and much more pleasant Woodstock upstate. Don’t blame him, the Village would have been too worrisome for me. Even Andy Warhol took a bullet in ’68. A very volatile situation there among the downtown boys of the Village. Nothing compared to today but then we’re more liberated now.
In Freudian terms- where Ego was the Id now is.

Henry Ford And The Aaron Sapiro Case
Whose Heaven On Earth?
Now let’s examine the apparent expectations of the two men, Henry Ford and Aaron Sapiro in light of their ethnic backgrounds and/or religious outlook, what the famed Jewish psychologist would call group psychology. How were their attitudes and opinions conditioned by their respective ethnic educations?
The leading characteristic of the Jews is that their approach is based on domination, the need to be Top Dog ‘by any means necessary.’ While I am not aware of Ford’s religious beliefs, if any, he reflects a Christian-American point of view, that is to say he considered service the highest virtue. Therefore he violated all established business practices by offering the highest value for the lowest price.
In that light then Ford founded his company and conducted its business on the basis of service, possibly what the Communists mean by ‘social justice.’ In constrast Sapiro exploited the farmers he claimed to represent extorting the highest fee for little value while aggrandized his persona. Ford created benefits for the many in everything he did including more than doubling the wage rate.
Just as Sapiro’s actions were based on his religion or ethnic collective, Ford’s activities were based on Christian-American ideals. Americanism could be placed on the same religious level as Judaism while Ford was busy developing his own variant of Christian-Americanism. It seems to have been his intent to reform the socio-economic basis of American life as a sort of American religion with himself as its prophet.
The clash between Ford and Sapiro was essentially ‘religious.’ As Miss Woeste points out Ford had his own vision of the farmer’s well fare based on service which clashed with Sapiro’s vision of dominance.
Ford had been a farmer while Sapiro never was.
Now, if one considers the psychological yearnings of the Ford Plan and those of the Sapiro Plan one has something like this: Ford’s Plan was essentially utopian in which he sought to create a heaven on earth for everyone while Sapiro’s Jewish Plan was millennial with the intent of creating a heaven on earth for Jews, they dominating everyone else.
Ford, believing he had the industrial key for bettering conditions for all was busy reforming every institution he came into contact with from industrial conditions to hospital care to electricity generation, not to mention his railroad. He was, like many of his generation, including W.K. Kellogg and his corn flakes and Bernarr Macfadden and his juice bars, interested in finding the miracle food, and he thought he may have found it one time in soy beans. In fact it was nearly a miracle bean. Ford established the bean as a premier American crop which had more than a little to do with aiding the farmer.
Sapiro’s notion can be seen in this photograph where he stands at the head of a group of Canadian farmers symbolically their master.
As should be clear the Jewish War Against Ford was long standing before the Independent articles. Jewish animosity toward him began with the five dollar day and added to by the six dollar day and eight hour five day week improvements.
Ford in a religious sense was working miracles that threatened to overturn the Jewish system. If Ford were able to establish his earthly utopia that would obviate the Jewish millennium. It will be remembered that the Jews believed the advent of the millennium was imminent at the time so Ford was construed as a very dangerous threat to the Jewish millennium as well as the Communist Revolution in which the Jews were also heavily involved.
Thus when the Communists attacked Ford plants in the thirties, the Jews through Roosevelt were undermining his authority through legislation finally forcing a union on him in 1942.
Ford was quite right to challenge Sapiro. It would be nice if Ford or Uwayne State published the Ford Sapiro articles for all of us to study. While Miss Woeste laughs at them claiming them full of misrepresentations we are obligated to either take or reject her word for it. Uncharacteristically as a historian she offers no examples.
For instance what was Sapiro’s relationship to Albert Lasker and Bernard Baruch? What publicity was Lasker, as a publicist, giving Sapiro? How was he represented in the press? If he was, what kind of advice was the commodity expert Baruch giving Sapiro?
Are we to believe the articles lie when they say Sapiro was involved with these men? It just doesn’t seem reasonable or if not Miss Woeste might have given examples and refuted them. Her charges don’t have to be insinuated. After all, while not a historian, she is a lawyer.
That UStanford, one of the most prestigious universities in these United States, would imply that they accept Miss Woeste is a credible scholar leads me to ask the question, Why?

Henry Ford And The Aaron Sapiro Case
Woeste, Victoria Saker: Henry Ford’s War On Jews And The Legal Battle Against Hate Speech, 2012, UStanford Press.
While Miss Woeste’s main concern in her historical polemic seems to be the struggle to stem criticism of Jewish activities otherwise known as ‘hate’ speech one wonders if she has even read any of Henry Ford’s three autobiographies.
Yet in Ford’s first auto, My Life And Work, he clearly lays out what he is doing and why. Miss Woeste incorporates none of this in her polemic or even attempts to analyze Ford’s motives instead belittling and willfully misinterpreting what he does.
The fact is that Ford was one of the top three admired men of America. Nothing built his reputation so much as his doubling the wages of his workmen which made them aristocrats among labor. Actually the increase was more than a doubling for the least skilled laborers at five dollars a day while the more skilled tasks earned commensurately more, six, seven, eight dollars and more. Ford workers then were comparatively much better off than other workers in Detroit and the nation.
Miss Woeste belittles this by writing that the workers were paid at the two fifty rate with the differential being paid at the end of the year. This is untrue. If Miss Woeste had read Ford’s 1922 auto she would have read that the full amount was paid as part of the worker’s bi-weekly pay. She does reference David L. Lewis’ The Public Image Of Henry Ford in which she would have read the same thing.
If she willfully falsified the information then her credibility is definitely destroyed. If she hadn’t read whatever she did read carefully or just assumed that her way was the way Ford would have done it then her scholarship is seriously compromised.
In any event since her work is of an uncompromised prejudiced attempt to build up her Jews while discrediting Ford it has little scholarly value.
If she had read Ford’s my life and work then she would have learned why he was exposing the machinations of the Jews. His explanation is contained in Chapter VIII of My Life And Work entitled ‘Things In General’ p. 250:
The work which we describe as Studies In The Jewish Question and which is variously described by antagonists as ‘the Jewish campaign,’ the attack on the Jews,’ ‘the anti-Semitic pogrom’ and so forth needs no explanation to those who have followed it. Its motives and purposes must be judged by the work itself. It is offered as a contribution to a question which deeply affects the country, a question which is racial at its source, and which concerns influences and ideals rather than persons. Our statements must be judged by candid readers who are intelligent enough to lay our words alongside life as they are able to observe it. If our words and their observations agree, the case is made. It is perfectly silly to damn us before our statement has been shown baseless or reckless. The first item to be considered is the truth of what we have set forth. And that is primarily the item which our critics choose to evade.
Readers of our articles will see at once that we are not activated by any kind of prejudices, except it may be a prejudice in favour of the principles which have made our civilization. There had been observed in this country certain strains of influence which were causing a marked deteriorization of our literature, amusements, and social conduct; business was departing from its oldtime substantial soundness; a general letting down of standards was felt everywhere. It was not the robust coarseness of the white man, the rude indelicacy say, of Shakespeare’s characters, but a nasty Orientalism which has insidiously affected every channel of expression and to such an extent that it was time to challenge it. The fact that these influences were traceable to one racial source is a fact to be reckoned with, not by us only, but by the intelligent people of the race in question. It is entirely creditable to them steps have been taken by them to remove their protection from the most flagrant violators of American hospitality, but there is still room to discard outworn ideals of racial superiority maintained by economic or intellectually subversive warfare upon Christian society.
Our work does not pretend to say the last word on the Jew in America. It says only the word which describes his obvious impress on the country. When that impress is changed, the report of it can be changed. For the present, then, the question is wholly in the Jews’ hands. If they are as wise as they claim to be, they will labor to make Jews Americans, instead of laboring to make Americans Jewish. The genius of the United States of America is Christian in the broadest sense, and its destiny is to remain Christian. This carries no sectarian meaning with it, but relates to a basic principle which differs from other principles in that it provides for liberty with morality, and pledges society to a code of relations based on fundamental Christian conceptions of human rights and duties.
As for prejudice or hatred against persons, that is neither American nor Christian. Our opposition is only to ideas, false ideas, which are sapping the moral stamina of the people. These ideas proceed from easily identifiable sources. They are promulgated by easily discoverable methods; and they are controlled by mere exposure. We have simply used the method of exposure. When the people learn to identify the source and nature of the influence swirling around them it is sufficient. Let the American people once understand that it is not natural degeneracy but subversion that affects us, and they are safe. The explanation is the cure.
This work was taken up without personal motives. When it reached a stage where we believed the American people could grasp the key, we let it rest for the time. Our enemies say that we began it for revenge and that we laid it down in fear. Time will show that our critics are merely dealing in evasion because they dare not tackle the main question. Time will also show that we are better friends to the Jews’ best interests than are those who praise them to their faces and criticize them behind their backs.
One can say that Miss Woeste claiming to represent all her people, every one without exception, dares not grapple with the facts still. In fact she misrepresents them. Nor has the attitude changed. To quote Gerald L.K. Smith who was a witness: (
The moment the manuscripts dealing with the Jewish problem reached the public a terrific howl went up from official Jewry. If I were to summarize the campaign of reprisal and abuse which was carried on against Mr. Ford and his Company, this summary alone would require a book. Every instrument of torture and abuse which could be imagined was carried on against Mr. Ford — smear, character assassination, ridicule, physical threat, boycott. The pressure was constant, consistent and endless. The most powerful and enigmatic pressures imaginable were brought to bear on Mr. Ford to stop the publication of ‘’The International Jew.’’ Finally the order came through to cease publication and to destroy the copies which were available. Jews and others went into the bookstores and bought and destroyed all copies and to steal the report out of the libraries. This made the book so rare and unfindable that it became a collector’s item.
Just as Ford was blasted in the 1920s so is he now as Miss Woeste’s polemic attests. Yet neither then nor now with Miss Woeste as an example were facts employed.
Ford wrote, actually dictated, three auto-biographies in his lifetime. Perhaps I am doing Miss Woeste a small injustice in doubting that she ever read them but if she has what she read doesn’t appear in her polemic.
For some strange reason she includes a rather detailed account of a blood libel trial in Russia called the Beilis Affair. Neither Ford nor Sapiro had anything to do with the Beilis case. What purpose does bringing it up serve?
She interjects another detailed account of the Leo Frank murder case in Atlanta, Georgia. True both Beilis and Frank were Jews but nothing in these two accounts pertains in any way to the Sapiro charges against Ford. How is the Ford trial affected by them? Miss Woeste demurs to explain.
In his 1922 auto published just after the first series of articles in which Ford gives valid reasons for publishing the Independent articles Ford also discusses in a number of places his views of the farm situation. One would think Miss Woeste might quote them giving us some idea of what Ford did think contra Sapiro.
We don’t even get an account of exactly what Sapiro was doing or thought he was doing. We have no idea of the results of his activities.
Sapiro’s activities were in the public sphere hence open to review and criticism. Having read the book twice I can’t tell you anything about Sapiro’s plan, that was even known as the Sapiro Plan, according to Miss Woeste.
There were other cooperative plans. How did they function and how did Sapiro differ from them and better them as Miss Woeste claims. Nothing. Instead we are told this was the first hate speech trial and Louis Marshall sabotaged it. Lewis Marshall was one of the Jews’ own.
We weren’t even given any examples of Ford’s hate speech to judge, just told he did it. Not even something like (Expletive deleted) the Jews. What were the hateful comments Ford made? Why was Ford even concerned about Sapiro’s activities unless he wasn’t doing anything for the farmers while collecting exorbitant fees, which he was.
Well, we’ll never learn from reading Henry Ford’s War On Jews. We won’t even really learn that much about the war. Very little substance there also.
What we do learn the most about is the Jewish attempt to turn the trial from a critique of Sapiro’s activities that might have had some similarities to fraud or the long con game to the irrelevant one of Ford purposely attempting to defame Jews rather than expose them.
Personally I don’t find Miss Woeste proving one or the other.
I don’t even know why she wrote this book, to expose this example of the waste of a court’s time, I guess.

Sixties And The Negro Revolution
Men in positions of great power have been forced to realize that their aspirations and responsibilities have exceed the horizons of their own experience, knowledge and capability. Yet, because they are in charge of this high-technology society, they are compelled to do something.
–Fletcher Prouty: JFK, The CIA and Vietnam
Society chooses not to see the most obvious things. Living back in the fifties any idea of a Negro revolt or race war was carefully hidden even if any White person even suspected what was going on in the Negro mind. Writing here in 2014 many things about the Negro revolt that were unrecognized or supposedly debatable have become clear. In my account then I will relate to the past, the present of the Sixties and the future being realized today.
The Negroes have always claimed that racism is endemic to White Americans. This attitude misses that the point of the actual differences between Homo Sapiens and Homo Africanus species. If the species were undifferentiated then ‘racism’ could be claimed but where the two different species have obvious different capabilities then the problem is shifted to another plane.
We are told that the African was the first edition, Homo 1.0, of Homo Sapiens which implies that the Last Homonid Predecessor to the Negro was sub-human. Unfortunately the record of all the immediate predecessors to Homo Africanus have disappeared from the Earth without a trace. We have a multi-million year gap between ancient homonids and Africanus, so we really don’t know when the supposedly sub-human and the human begins. We are told that only 2% of our genes differentiate ourselves from the Chimps which is all very well and good but what was the genetic difference between the LHP and Africanus? A gene or two? And if a gene or two can make a difference between sub-human and human who is to say that Africanus is not the LHP?
But I digress a little but meaningfully. From the Negro point of view then endemic ‘racism’ is true and if not, it should be. As White mental capabilities are of a higher order than that of the Negro the disparate impact of White Supremacy is unavoidable. There is a biological difference in mental capabilities that cannot be eliminated. What differentiated the LHP and Africanus cannot possibly be any more than that. If both were stood side by side one must assume that there would have been no noticeable difference. Perhaps skin tone.
The fact was made even more apparent during the Sixties when violent and criminal programs were enacted by Liberal Whites for the benefit of Africanus or in another word, the Negro. These programs were expanded over the subsequent decades until the Negro ideal of the first being last and the last being first is being realized through the manipulation of political and legal mechanisms today. Thus the least capable is subordinating the most capable.
This program was being effected by the efforts of such people as the president of the Ford Foundation in 1966, McGeorge Bundy. He, the former military advisor of Kennedy and Johnson, knew nothing of military matters, and knew even less of the Negro having known none and quite possibly never having spoken to one determined to ‘lift’ the Negro to White standards. The concept of disparate impact had not yet been invented. One can quite easily see that Liberals considered the Negro inferior else how could they be ‘lifted’ to White standards. That’s the inherent ‘racism’ Negroes complain of.
McGeorge Bundy neither knew nor made any attempt to understand the Negro psychology which he presumed was exactly like White psychology but less so. It was readily admitted and unchallenged that Negroes had an inferior education and hence less well prepared than Whites for the challenges of modern society. The reason was advanced that Negroes were behind because the amount of money spent on their schooling was less than that spent on Whites. Never mind that the money spent on education for anybody in the nineteenth century was infinitesimal whether White or Negro yet the nineteenth century still made incredible scientific advances.
It was decided that the more spent the sooner the gap would be closed but in an absent minded way the gap was always admitted and denied by no one. In that context of White Supremacy the Sixties began with Kennedy’s creation of the pet Liberal idea of the Peace Corps in which White youths recently graduated from college with no worldly experience were sent to ‘underdeveloped’ peoples to lift them up and bring them into the White way of doing things. There seemed to be no attempt to understand how the Uplift Gospel was perceived by the poor colored peoples of the world.
In this way the Negroes were seen as a sort of domestic Peace Corps project in which Whites would teach the Negro to do things the White way. In the eyes of the Negro this was White Supremacy run amuck, an attempt to strip them of their Negritude, which it was. At the same time they could not compete on an equal basis so that the attempted entitlements granted Negroes to remedy the situation enraged the Whites.
Yes, both sides admitted the inability of the Negro to compete in a White technological world where standards were set to ensure the highest standard of public benefit. Negroes rejected he meritocracy in favor of a Negro spoils system. Thus to ensure Negro placement not only were Negroes given an IQ handicap of 20 points or so but standards were lowered to ensure inclusion thus decreasing public benefit for all. The downward spiral had begun.
The downward spiral was much forwarded by the Civil Rights Movement of the post-Brown decision in the fifties and sixties. While the movement was largely the work of New York Jews there was little dissent among Whites who considered the Movement as just as WWII. I never met anyone who, publicly, at least, disagreed with it. For myself I viewed it with much foreboding as I had Brown vs. The Board Of Education. There was too much ill will in Negro grievances for the issue to be settled amicably as events in these years surrounding 2014 are showing.
While Negroes speak of the legacy of slavery, slavery is not the real issue. Negroes were always slaves, slavery was the norm in Africa. One of the first White explorers to penetrate West Africa the incredibly naïve Mungo Park, speaking of eighteenth century West Africa of the Bulge noted that seventy-five percent of the sub-Saharan Africans were slaves to other Africans and were disposable as their owners wished.
Nor were modern contacts with Whites the first that had been made with Africans. Roman roads led through the Sahara from the Med coast into the southern jungles. Even earlier the Carthaginians made long voyages of discovery down the coast of Africa even circumnavigating the continent. These were voyages that took years to make. It was the ancient custom when stores ran low to stop to sow and reap crops so as to continue while water replacement was probably necessary every few days. In addition there were numerous shipwrecks.
Several tribes on the coast of the Bulge have legends of White lawgivers arriving who gave them the rudiments of social and political organization. Apparently previous to these White visitors the Negroes were merely savages huddling around fires.
Thus to some extent the Africans had been semi-civilized learning many Mediterranean legends and religious ideas which accounts for the remarkable similarity between Med and African legends while such legends may have formed the basis of the Yoruba people of Nigeria’s religion that forms the basis of the New World Negro religions going by the name of Voo Doo, Santeria etc.. Whites must have always played a major role in the development of Africans.
When the Semitic people began enslaving Africans isn’t clear but with the coming of Moslemism in the seventh century AD and their sweep across North Africa and the Sahara brought them into contact with the West African tribes. The Moslems, or Arabs, then began a slave trade leading from the jungles and Sahel across the Sahara that existed for a thousand years. Not being particularly tender the slavers either couldn’t tend to their cargo because of the extreme desert conditions or they didn’t care so that the track was littered with a thousand years of bleaching bones.
In the East very early the Arabs worked their way down the coast until they established their southern post on Kilwa Island at the southern end of what is now Tanzania. In whatever manner the East African Arabs turned black so that being an Arab became a cultural matter rather than a racial one. The Arabs then nearly depopulated the Sudan by their centuries long raids. They generally took the women and children leaving the men behind.
It was in this area that the African as opposed to Arab tribes took to extending female lips by inserting plates and elongating necks with copper rings in the hope of making their women ugly enough to dissuade the slavers from taking them.
Further South having depopulated the coasts the Arabs moved into the interior across then Tanganyika, now Tanzania, then into the Congo basin where they met the incoming Europeans from the West.
The explorers described the long trains of captured Africans linked by neck yokes making the long thousand mile trek from the Congo to the coast opposite the slave entrepot of the fable island of Zanzibar.
For those who survived the trek there awaited the sweltering ‘tween decks voyage across the Indian ocean on small Arab dhows to be sold in Arabia, the Middle East, Iran and for many India.
The slave trade of Europeans began as a workforce for Brazil and the Caribbean islands including Haiti. Those not sold in the Caribbean were carried to the US North and South. The Negroes who went West were the favored ones occupying the virtual paradise of the Antilles or the fabulous fleshpots of the then British American colonies soon to be the US. No better thing ever happened to Negroes.
Nor is it to be supposed that slavery was confined to the South or limited to Negroes. Not long after New World slavery began Oliver Cromwell invaded Ireland where he rounded up tens of thousands of male and female Irishers selling them into slavery in the Antilles where they labored in the fields cheek by jowl with the Negroes. There are apparently settlements of these ex-Irish slaves in the islands today.
Negro slavery existed in all the colonies North and South in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries as well as into the nineteenth century. The repeal of slavery began in the Rhode Island colony in 1652, Massachusetts and New Hamphire in 1783, Connecticut in 1784, Pennsylvania in 1847 and New York in 1848.
In 1808 the Federal government made it illegal to import slaves. Canada outlawed slavery only in 1819.
Indentured servants who we were taught were kitchen help or like service were in very many instances actual slaves. Originally used in the fields they died in large numbers from exposure. Negroes used to torrid temperatures while walking around naked were brought in to replace them but both races worked the fields cheek by jowl where much miscegenation undoubtedly took place.
The date of the passage of laws banning slavery does not mean slavery in those places ended on that date as clauses extended existing bondage for several years. It is more than likely that some slaves existed in all or most states in 1863 the date of the Emancipation proclamation. That proclamation did not outlaw slavery per se merely emancipating the slaves in the seceded States.
The key event in US slavery took place in the French colony of Haiti culminating in the massacre or enslavement of the Whites in 1804.
The Haitian slaves had originally revolted in 1791. A cadre of revolutionaries had arisen in France sometime in the 1780s who made it a point to agitate the Antillean slaves including Haiti. The Haitian revolution was successful as the Jacobins in France outlawed slavery in the French empire in 1794. The agitators then turned their eyes toward the slavery in the new United States of 1793.
The Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798 if not directed at these Jacobin agitators were used against them. The Acts expired in 1801 during Jefferson’s term so agitators were then able to function freely. Thus the Abolitionist movement began in the North especially among the East Anglian descendants of New England.
In this air of anti-slavery agitation the seven year old republic was alarmed at the news of the San Domingo Moment of 1804 in Haiti when the Negroes rose up and slaughtered the White men of the island. The White women were given the choice of death or becoming sex slaves to the Haitian men. Most chose life under this condition. Those who didn’t were gang raped and tortured to death. The horrors true and imagined caused a frisson of fear to run up the backs of Americans North and South. As noted slavery was still legal is many Northern States at the time.
While the Jacobins had outlawed slavery in 1794 Napoleon reinstated it in 1802. In the resultant reaction the Negro revolutionary Toussaint L’Ouverture led the slaves to victory over large French armies. Toussaint then became as or more famous than his contemporary George Washington. He was celebrated in poems and stories by such worthies as William Wordsworth of England and John Greenleaf Whittier of the United States.
As the noted historian Matthew J. Clavin details in his wonderful history Toussaint Louverture and the American Civil War: The Promise and Peril of a Second Haitian Revolution the Abolitionists kept Toussaint’s reputation alive while exciting the country into what might well have been a revolution forcing the Southern States into secession to protect not only their interests but their lives.
With the success of the first Haitian slave revolt Napoleon may well have thought New Orleans was next so rather lose it all for expense chose to sell the Louisiana territory to the US for some recompense. Either the US was uber confident in its ability to manage the situation or they weren’t yet well informed on the Haitian situation. In any event the choice was between the devil and the deep blue sea. Imagine an alternate history in which Negroes revolted from French rule in New Orleans forming a Negro empire opposed to the US.
It should be remembered that New Orleans was the northern anchor of the French Antillean empire that stretched from there down through Haiti and the islands to South America. In the event then Whites and possibly Negroes with their retinues of slaves fled to New Orleans causing irruptions in what was then the United States. And of course many Whites fled to cities of the East Coast carrying their stories with them north of the Mason-Dixon line.
With the results of Haiti in mind Jacobins or Abolitionists entered the South between then and 1860 to agitate the Negroes to murder the men and possess their women as they had done in Haiti. This was a very serious problem in the South undoubtedly influencing the desire for Secession.
There was small difference between the acts of the Abolitionists and Robespierre’s Jacobins in France. Their attitude was to motivate Liberals from their day to this. If the Abolitionists hadn’t been restrained post-war by leveler Northern heads it is not impossible that they wouldn’t have taken the guillotine to every Southern head. That would have meant the genocide of millions. Believe me those guys were savage and insane, possessed by an irrevocable idee fixe that continues to this day.
The Southerners realizing their peril organized the first Klan waging a guerilla war against Northern carpet baggers and Negroes to assure their own survival. They fought hard while their Northern allies restrained the looneys in Washington. One of their kind, a current professor at UColumbia in NYC named Eric Foner, has labeled the Civil War/Reconstruction as America’s Unfinished Revolution which he is working to complete today.
Thus one can say the hostilities begun in 1860 are continuing into the present. The Southerners succeeding in their counterrevolution established the period of Jim Crow to contain the Abolitionists and Negroes. The net result of both Haitian Revolutions then was the near total suppression of Negroes for a mere seventy-seven years. The Negro counter reaction has been waged now for sixty some years.
Toussaint L’Ouverture then could be seen as the Che Guevara of his time. If T-shirts had been the mode his countenance would have been seen everywhere, at least North of the Mason-Dixon line. As it was, in the mode of the time, Wordsworth and Whittier composed poems in his honor. The Abolitionists roamed the South promoting another San Domingo Moment.
The radical wish was proven in the Reconstruction period after the war. Reconstruction was perhaps the most shameful period in world history, dwarfing the Jewish holocaust of more recent memory. The Abolitionists of the North were absolutely barbaric in their treatment of the Whites and their adoration of Negroes who were but little removed from savagery. There was a small difference between the acts of the Abolitionists and Robespierre’s Jacobins in France.
The genocidal mindset of the Haitian Negroes in 1804 has been carried forward from then until today when Negroes aided by their Jewish allies are calling for the total extermination of one billion Whites. What is the psychology behind that?
I think the answer is contained in the term White Supremacy.
As I have said the Arab slavers in Africa became black so that one had black Arabs enslaving black Africans. The Arabs were thus on the same intellectual level as the Negroes while the Negroes had been enslaving and eating each in much the same way for hundreds if not thousands of years.
What the world learned to its chagrin during the colonial period in Africa is that Whites are more capable than the coloreds. The fear that motivates Negroes, Jews and the rest of the coloreds is that they are actually less mentally capable than the Whites, hence in personal terms, inferior.
The term White Supremacy is actually self explanatory. The fact was that and is that Whites- Aryans- are intellectually superior. This is totally obvious to the naked eye although the scientific evidence of genetics indicates the same thing. Whites then, whether they wished to or not, looked down on Negroes as inferior while holding themselves aloof forbidding White women to even look at Negroes. This attitude especially concerning women angered Negroes more than can be said.
So much of White culture and inventive ability must have seemed like magic to the Negroes. Physically there wasn’t much difference. One on one without guns the White man and Negro were more or less equals. Thus when the explorer Stanley with his gun held before him was admonishing a group of Negroes, one out of sheer frustration of this runt speaking to him as he did, snatched the gun from Stanley’s hands. At that point Stanley’s power would have vanished had not his Negro gun bearer snatched the gun back handing it to Stanley restoring his power.
Thus the difference in the Negro mind was technological or intellectual superiority which he disregards as a trick or magic. The mental disparity make the two species unequal hence the insistent demand for equality at any cost. So far the appearance of equality has only been obtained by tilting the field in favor of the Negro.
Imagine the Negro fresh from the jungle stepping into a civilization he couldn’t possibly have imagined as he landed in the colonies. He must have been overwhelmed and shamed. The Jews certainly were when they were transported to Babylon where the scope of that civilization and its architecture made Israel and its comparatively shabby temple that they were so proud of appear insignificant.
Consider the country rube’s first look at New York City. I had seen big cities like SF, LA, Chicago and Philly but I mean to tell I was overawed by the endless streets of skyscrapers and the intense hustle and bustle.
As far as Magic goes just consider that little hand held device the Smart Phone. Not only can you call anywhere in the world, carry an entire encyclopedia in the your pocket, send letters by email and unbelievably take photographs and transmit them instantaneously anywhere in the world and if you’ve forgotten where you’ve parked your car the Smart Phone will locate it for you and show you where it is. Magic don’t you think?
Who invented such a device? White people. Who can use it? Anyone, even if you’re fresh from the jungle. It’s operation is that simplified. That’s what White people can do and others can’t.
Like it or not Negroes can’t. We know it; they know it too. So as much as they rail against White Supremacy its there and all they can do is eradicate it by exterminating Whites.
So the hatred is not really rooted in slavery; they have always known slavery but in fact that they can never be equal so, if you follow, the lack of equality is the real and only issue. It cannot be resolved in the Negro’s favor.
By 1877 the Southern Whites had re-established White Supremacy placing the Negro back under control for seventy-seven years until Brown vs. The Board of Education released them to murder and plunder once again.
Along the way the war always simmered along sometimes bursting into a boil. The war years of 1914-18 and the early twenties were especially volatile. On the one hand Marcus Garvey established his Universal Negro Improvement Association and on the other with White men off fighting in Europe industrialists encouraged Negroes to move North to replace Whites in the factories. What has been called the Great Migration began.
While Marcus Garvey was trying to organize global Negroes and actually succeeded in establishing branches in forty some countries the migration of Negroes North was instrumental in strengthening his hand.
In the UNIA battle Whites succeeded in stopping Garvey although Garveyism had a lasting effect worldwide. The Northern invasion was stoutly resisted by Whites in the twenties as battles erupted in sites such as Chicago, Oklahoma City and especially East St. Louis, Illinois. When the smoke cleared and the dust settled in East St. Louis Negroes occupied the town. It was theirs and has remained so.
Warfare cooled down after the battles of the early twenties. The next big eruption occurred in Detroit during WWII when there was a massive battle.
As usual Negroes returning from WWII came back with different notions of race relations. They were reluctant to observe Jim Crow. Their Liberal allies had their back. In 1954. Jim Crow was defeated by the Brown vs. Board Of Education Supreme Court decision and actually implemented by Pres. Eisenhower which he didn’t have to do.
The Court determined that it could make laws without the aid of the legislatures. Henceforth the courts became social arbiters rather than legal interpreters. Fairly low level judges could on their own initiative and according to their own prejudices declare any law or the voter’s will null and void by their simple say so. The White side of the war had been legally emasculated. Why anyone would observe one man’s opinion has always been beyond me.
Thus as the war turned into the period of the Civil Rights Movement of the struggle White warriors were not only taking on the White Liberals and Negroes but the whole legal and political order. The federal government in almost a repeat of the post-Civil War Reconstruction sent armored divisions of the Army into the South to impose the illegal Supreme Court decision on Southern White school children.
At the same time emboldened by the Supreme Court decision Negroes in the South arose in an assault on White Jim Crow rule most especially in Alabama.
Virtually unnoticed at the time the racial balance in the war’s most important battlefield, NYC was quietly shifting. After the war Whites began moving out of New York City while hundreds of thousands of Puerto Ricans were being airlifted into the city along with other hundreds of thousands of West Indian Negroes. By late century there were more West Indians than their were US born Negroes in NYC.
Thus by 1965 while the population of the city was unchanged a million and a half Whites had left and a million and a half Puerto Ricans and West Indians had replaced them. Gigantic ghettos sprang up in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens.
Thus by 1960 the situation had become quite combustible.

The Sixties And The Negro Revolution
Men in positions of great power have been forced to realize that their aspirations and responsibilities have exceeded the horizons of their own experience, knowledge and capability. Yet, because they are in charge of this high-technology society, they are compelled to do something.
–Fletcher Prouty, JFK, The CIA And Vietnam
Writing here in 2014 many things about the Negro revolt in the Sixties that were unrecognized or supposedly debatable at the time have become clear. In my account then I will relate to the past, the present of the Sixties and the future being realized today.
The Negroes have always claimed endemic White racism. From their perspective this is true as the disparate impact of White supremacy is unavoidable. The attempt to deny this superiority through Affirmative Action which gives Negroes a handicap of 20 IQ points or so to make them equal admits the fact of the disparity between the two species.
This fact is also apparent by the efforts of people like McGeorge Bundy who assumed the reins of the Ford Foundation in 1966 to ‘lift’ the Negro up to White standards. Bundy neither knew nor made any attempt to understand Negro psychology which he presumed was exactly like White psychology but less developed. In that context the Sixties began with Kennedy’s creation of the Peace Corps in which White youths with no worldly experience were sent to ‘underdeveloped’ peoples too lift them up and show them how to do things the White way. There seemed to be no understanding of how the rhetoric of ‘uplift’ was perceived by the poor coloreds.
The Negroes were seen in much the same way as a sort of domestic Peace Corps in which Whites would teach Negroes manners, so to speak. In Negro eyes this was racism, White supremacy, and destested.
Yet, both sides admitted the inability of the Negro to compete in a White world when standards of ability had been created to ensure the highest standards of public benefit. Thus to ensure Negro placement not only were Negroes given a handicap of 20 points or so but standards were lowered thus decreasing public benefit of all.
While Negroes always speak of the legacy of slavery, slavery is not the issue. Negroes were always slaves, slavery was the norm in Africa. The traveler Mungo Park speaking in the eighteenth century West Africa thought that seventy-five percent of the sub-Saharan Africans were slaves disposable as their owners wished.
It might also be appropriate to point out here that the African social structure such as it was had been given to them by White men. Along the coast of the Bulge several African tribes have legends of White men coming and instructing them in the rudiments of social order. This implies that African society before that was on a hunter gatherer basis.
These legends of White law givers were undoubtedly derived from ship wrecked sailors probably from many different historical periods probably beginning with the Phoenicians or Carthaginians who made many forays down the African coast while they are thought to have circumnavigated Africa. It is not improbable that a crew or crews spent several months in the areas as the voyages took years to complete so that crews had to stop, sow crops and harvest them, replenishing their stores before continuing. Thus Whites must always have played a major role in the development of Africans.
The Arabs had been making slave raids since at least the eighth century in both West and East Africa. At the least tens of thousands of African slaves died on the long trek from the Sahel across the Sahara to the Mediterranean shores. The whole of the Sudan was thought to have been depopulated by 75% by the slavers. It was there that women had plates put in their lips, had their necks stretched using copper rings, to make them ugly so as to discourage slavers.
Further South in Kenya, Tanganyika and the Congo, Arab slavers sent long lines of slaves in neck yokes and chains on the thousand mile walk to the coast opposite the island of Zanzibar which was the trading bazaar. A very large percentage died on the trek and a still larger number amongst the midships passage to India and the Persian Gulf.
Yet the Negroes make no complaint about their savage treatment by the Arabs. Why? Quite simple. The Arabs were White to start but from the eighth century Arabs in Africa bred with the Africans becoming Negroes themselves but retaining the Arab identity. Negroes could understand enslavement by fellow Blacks which was normal; it had always been that way. In many ways the Arabs were on the same intellectual level or only slightly higher than the Africans but better organized than the non-Arab Negroes so there was no real conflict on the racial level.
Even the Ugandan chief Mtese speaking in the second half of the nineteenth century remarked that he noticed that the finer Arab trading goods came from White Europeans. There was an intellectual difference between Europeans and Arab/Negroes. It was a marked difference in intelligence. Nor did the difference pass unnoticed by the Whites. Thus there was a racial divide the Whites refused to regress to and which the Negroes couldn’t cross.
Whites rather consciously or not considered the Negroes a lower form of evolution somewhere between apes and Homo Sapiens. While Liberals of the Sixties decade would never have admitted to this attitude they nevertheless had it. Thus the tried to ‘raise’ the Negro ‘up’ to their level. The Negroes resented the attitude.
The Negroes always hated and resented the Whites for their attitude as they were treated like so many farm animals on the plantations everywhere in the world. Slavery would never have ended except for the English conscience. White people trafficked in Africans for a couple hundred years before the British ended the practice voluntarily at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Of course, not everyone, including the Americans, recognized British law so that the English spent millions and large human resources in the attempt to enforce their edict.
Slaves continued to pour into America until in a disgraceful war White Americans slaughtered each other while expending most of the wealth they had accumulated in the previous two centuries. The beneficiaries of the internecine slaughter were the Negroes. Then the Northerners attempted to enslave the Southerners to their Negro ex-slaves.
The British passed an anti-Slavery act in India in 1843. How long it took the practice to die out, if it has, is not clear.
In Brazil slavery was abolished only in 1888, twelve years from the twentieth century.
Slavery has never been abolished in Arab lands, discretely carried on today while they have slyly re-imported the practice into Europe and America.
The Negro revolution began in Haiti just after the turn of the nineteenth century. Haiti was part of the French colonial Caribbean stretching down from New Orleans on the North American continent through Haiti and the numerous islands leading down to South America.
The Negroes rose up and slaughtered every White male. As a sign of their resentment at White superiority that put White women out of reach of the Negro they allowed the White women to live so long as they gave up their pretensions of superiority and bedded Negroes. Most did. But those that didn’t were raped and tortured to death.
The French have always loved the Negro more than other Europeans. In their colonies there was a large mulatto population created by White men impregnating slaves that also owned slaves while there were numerous free Negro slave owners. Thus it was that the majority of Negro slave owners in the US after the Louisiana Purchase of 1803 were in New Orleans. It may be a coincidence that the French sold Louisiana shortly after the Haitian rebellion or perhaps they read the writing on the wall.
While slavery was relatively benign in the Eastern states where owners did not have the right of life and death over their slaves in New Orleans the Negro slave owners were in the habit of working their slaves to death finding it cheaper to buy more. What good is an old useless slave anyway, hey?
Indeed, breeding farms arose in Kentucky, the site of Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin. When the Negroes were of an age they were sold down river to New Orleans which gave rise to that American expression.
Nor were all slaves Black. Free labor is free labor black or white. A large proportion of eighteenth century slaves were White, called indentured servants, who were treated as slaves working in the fields cheek by jowl with the Negroes. Nor were they necessarily released after their term of indenture. Excuses for expenses incurred could always be invented.
In the seventeenth century in Ireland Oliver Cromwell rounded up tens of thousands of Irish and sold them into slavery in the Caribbean where they remained slaves unto death. Children and others were abducted from English streets to be sold into slavery. The hero of Stevenson’s kidnapped was given as a reward to the ship’s captain to sell in America.
To return to the main narrative. The Negro rebellion began in Haiti and spread from there to Negro revolts on the US mainland. The Negro revolts were interrupted by the War Between the Whites. The revolt in a sense succeeded during Reconstruction abetted by the Northerners. The White counter-revolution threw off the Northern/Negro yoke in 1877 thus actually ending slavery in the US while beginning the counter suppression known as Jim Crow. The species were strictly segregated.
The racial war has never ceased although assuming different manifestations for differing circumstances. The Negro has always been aided by Northern Liberals and after 1900 by the Jews who had immigrated in their millions. WWI gave many opportunities to Negroes who were not used as troops. The war was fought by Whites against Whites thus allowing Negroes to replace their manpower in the Northern factories. The great internal migration from South to North had begun. Of course it was attended by ferocious racial warfare, usually referred to as riots. Abetted again by WWII the internal Negro migration proceeded turning into a flood during the fifties and sixties.
The Negro revolt has been characterized as America’s Unfinished Revolution referring to the failure of Reconstruction, or the supremacy of the Negro. In 2014 we are near another civil war to complete the revolution. The key event in this phase of the revolution was the Brown vs. The Board of Education Supreme Court Decision of 1954 that is said to have effectively ended the Jim Crow period.
If we consider the reality of the situation, the Negro view and the Liberal view the Supreme Court decision was a disaster. I can’t even characterize it as well meaning. It completely failed to take into consideration the realities of the situation.
Any historical perspective beginning only with the Northern imposition of Reconstruction on the South a mere eighty-nine years previously and the end of Reconstruction just seventy-seven years previously would surely alert you to the fact that the wires you were holding were live at both ends. To have ignored that was foolish. Couple that with the fact that most of the Africans had arrived after 1820 and had never been acclimated from the jungle to civilization. Mark Sullivan in his wonderful ‘Our Times’ states that in his early years ‘charming’ Africanisms such as wearing feathers was still in existence. That means that the Africans of 1954 had been excluded from the mainstream by Jim Crow for seventy-seven years. They had little concept of how the majority lived or acted or even the nature of government.
Also, by the Liberals own reckoning since they thought the Negroes’ schools and hence education was woefully substandard, they were several years behind comparable White education. They believed the Negro couldn’t get a quality education unless they were admitted to White schools. It is difficult to understand how they thought they could integrate the two class level to class level. At best they would have had to start with five years olds and begin with that generation. As it is, several generations later the educational gap is still in existence.
On a realistic scientific basis it is not possible to close the gap. Like it or not the Negro, at the very least the First Born of Homo Sapiens, is the evolutionary beginning point of Homo Sapiens while as a more probable situation they may be the Last Hominid Predecessor, or Homo Africanus, hence entirely incapable of advancing intellectually.
The Africans themselves resent being treated as the Liberals’ pets or being thought to need to be elevated to White levels which was precisely the Liberal goal then and now. The back lash at the Negro level had to be. Reaction to the Brown decision would surface ten years later in, for our purposes here, NYC when Community Control of the schools surfaced. Negroes wanted all Negro schools with all Negro teachers while setting their own curriculum. This position effectively negated the Brown decision rendering all the socially destructive hub bub of militarily enforcing the decision on Whites completely unnecessary. By the Sixties the racial animosity was unstoppable.

Henry Ford’s War On The Jews
Victoria Saker Woeste
Aaron Sapiro Takes On Henry Ford For Profit
Review by R.E. Prindle
Woeste, Victoria Saker: Henry Ford’s War On The Jews And The Legal Battle Against Hate Speech, 2012, Stanford University Press
The remarkable thing about Jews is that they think Aryans don’t have the intelligence to analyze their activities. To my mind Aryans are analytical geniuses. Who else could have or did create Chemistry through the analysis of complete intangibles. Neither the Jews nor any other people had anything to do with Chemistry or the development of any of the other scientific disciplines. Yet the Jews are there to take the credit while claiming to be more intelligent than Aryans.
What other people have ever weighed the invisible carbon atom? What other people have ever determined the distance from the Earth to the Sun, the speed of light?
What other people organized the sciences, the social sciences, psychology? Do the Jews believe that the men who could resolve those seeming impossibilities are not able to scan the history of the Jewish people and not understand their motives and methods? Are all the historians and people who have explained those methods and motives truly wrong, stupid, malignant or…anti-Semites? Of course not. The truth is plain to see.
Do the Jews believe that men like Henry Ford who could create from scratch huge industrial organizations actually be blind to what was going on before their eyes? I hope not. Do they believe that they didn’t give Henry Ford reasons to expose their machinations? I don’t think so. I think that they think they are magicians and hypnotists who can make you see what isn’t there and deny what is.
Let us search the historical memory of recent times, that is post-French Revolution, to see if we can show what Henry Ford and his times saw. In 1843 the small Jewish community in the US founded the Order Of The B’nai B’rith. The order went international. In 1895 Sigmund Freud joined the Vienna lodge to which he belonged for the remainder of his life. The B’nai B’rith was international. Psycho-analysis was international.
In 1860 in France the Alliance Israelite Universelle, an international organization, was founded to guard and promote Jewish interests around the world, that included Czarist Russia. In 1895 when world wide prospects could be better controlled from the United State the AIU was moved to New York City under the guidance of Jacob Schiff. Schiff immediately produced results by using the 200 million dollars in the cash assets of the Equitable Assurance Co. to finance the Japanese in their war against Czarist Russia. At the same time Jewish bankers refused to make loans to Russia. This is coordinated international activity.
The Jews had been warring with Russia for nearly a hundred years. From their base in NYC they caused the US to sever diplomatic relations with Russia in 1910.
In 1906 the Alliance Israelite Universelle was transformed into the American Jewish Committee the governing agency of the Jewish world government with Schiff as President and Louis Marshall as Secretary of State. In 1913 when the socialist Woodrow Wilson became president Jews flooded into DC while B’nai B’rith founded its terrorist enforcement agency the Anti-Defamation League. Functioning in a para-military manner the League began terrorizing anyone they deemed anti-Semites, the first step in shutting down freedom of speech. The ground work for the legalization of the concept of ‘hate’ speech was laid.
In 1917 Jews established the NAACP to further destabilize Aryan society.
Now, sometime after the collapse of Sabbatai Zevi as the latest Jewish messiah in the seventeenth century the Rabbis decided that there was to be no future for individual messiahs but that the whole Jewish people would act as their own messiah to bring about the millennium. The tabs set for the Jewish Revolution were 1913 to 1928 hence the furious Jewish activity during those years.
This was the situation that Ford saw. In 1914 came the Great War, WWI, the most destructive war on European manhood that could possibly be imagined. There were many who believe the war was engineered by the Jews.
Henry Ford, a farm boy from humble origins had spent his life trying to invent an automobile. In 1908 he succeeded, creating his Model T, a functional inexpensive car available to the multitudes not only the wealthy. By 1914 he become perhaps the richest man in the US. He was in a position to make his mark on the world. He did believe he had found a universal principle to bring on the millennium.
There is always a certain exhilaration to success. It always goes to your head to some extent no matter how hard you try to keep your balance. Convinced that he had found a universal rule to money making, that of lowering prices to increase volume, Ford shared his success with his work force by doubling their wages in 1914. This deed brought him unmeasured renown. It also aroused the envy of the Jews who thought the role of messiah was theirs.
When the Great War began, then, it was widely assumed that the US would be forced in. At that point preparedness became an issue. To prepare the country for the inevitable entry by arming. A large segment of the population led by the fatuous Teddy Roosevelt wanted to arm in preparation while many others led by Woodrow Wilson procrastinated. Still others thought the war could negotiated to a halt, heeding the rule of reason so to speak. Ford was a peacenik. Inflamed by his notoriety and confidence in his abilities to perform wonders he ran full page advertisements in NYC papers and elsewhere proclaiming his beliefs.
A Jewish woman by the name of Rosika Schwimmer showed up on his doorstep to induce him to travel to Europe to negotiate an end to the war. Ford stepped into the trap. This was his first contact with ‘international’ Jews. Ford chartered a ship, he had the ways and means as well as intent, and invited many notables to take a free ride to Europe to talk things over with the various combatants.
While the idea wasn’t as preposterous in the context of the times as it sounds now, the more solid citizens declined the offer while the cranks and crazies and certain Jews signed on. Chief among the Jews were Rosa Schwimmer and a key member of the American Jewish Committee the propagandist Herman Bernstein. Bernstein wrote several tracts for the American Jewish Committee. Needless to say Ford’s Peace trip was botched shortly after taking to sea so that upon docking in Norway Ford returned home.
Ford’s side of the story was that a couple days out Miss Schwimmer and AJC agent Herman Bernstein took Ford aside explaining the facts of the matter to him. As they explained it the Jews were in control of the situation through international linkages and that Ford was wasting his time as Jews were the only people who could stop the war. Schwimmer and Bernstein of course denied Ford’s account. That leaves one with the choice of believing Ford or the Jews. I have more confidence in Ford and choose his statements. The Jews as usual deny everything.
In point of fact, as the Czar was considered by the Jews as their great enemy, so long as Russia was one of the allies the Jews supported Germany as the enemy of their enemy rejecting any aid to the Allies. The Jews were considered a powerful people whose assistance was courted by the Allies. It was thus they extorted the Balfour Declaration from England.
With the February Revolution in Russia by the Mensheviks and the removal of the Czar who with his entire family was later murdered by the Jews they could turn their attention to destroying Germany replacing the Kaiser with their own as was actually done for a short time in Bavaria. With the Czar dethroned, on April 2, 1917 Woodrow Wilson went before Congress to seek a declaration of war against Germany thus making the US the decisive factor in the defeat of the Kaiser. First the Czar then the Kaiser.
Lenin already en route to St. Petersburg’s Finland Station arrived there on the next day April 3rd, 1917. In October Lenin’s Bolshevik Party displaced the Mensheviks in the October Revolution quickly murdering the Czar and family. Immediately after the Bolshevik Revolution Jacob Shiff representing the American Jewish Committee forwarded very large loans to help finance the Bolshevik Revo. This did not go unnoticed as President Wilson commanded him to come to the White House to explain his actions. Masters of Bullshit as always Schiff was able to placate Wilson.
None of this was secret at the time, anyone who cared could know about it. One has to believe that after being shamed and ridiculed by Jews as he saw it in the Peace Ship episode one may be sure Ford was an attentive bystander. The Jews as always denied everything.
Ford’s next encounter with the Jews came over the War Industries Board directives. The Detroiters had significant differences with Wilson’s clearly socialist program. The WIB under the direction of the Jew Bernard Baruch tried to subordinate the nation’s manufacturers to the government, actually nationalized the railroads, in what amounted to quasi-nationalization for industry.
So by the beginning of 1918 Ford had had two very unpleasant encounters with the Jews. If he hadn’t been suspicious of them before he was by then and especially so after January 1919 when he received a copy of the Jewish Bill Of Rights from the AJC, that is Jacob Schiff and Louis Marshall demanding his compliance to their special ‘rights.’
At the same time Ford was being sued by his investors for dividends instead he bought them out. For the first time in life he was forced to apply to the bankers for a loan, this one into the tens of millions. The bankers too were Jews and they pressed him for immediate repayment. Unable to meet their demands from cash reserves Ford went through a crash reorganization to convert non-essential assets into cash at which he succeeded thus retaining ownership of Ford Motors. Another two unpleasant encounters.
In 1920 ,then, having acquired the Dearborn Independent newspaper that Ford took international he began publishing a series of articles exposing Jewish methods and motives. None dare call it self-defense. Among the essays were three dealing with the AJC’s Jewish Bill Of Rights. Abe Foxman of the ADL characterizes the Ford Essays this way:
The International Jew also attacked the Jews for speaking out about injustice and defending their constitutional rights. “Jewish rights seemed to be summed up in the right to banish everything from their sight and hearing that suggests Christianity and its Founder,” it commented. In fact these so-called “attacks on Christianity” were reasonable Jewish objections to governmental expressions of Christianity which clearly violated the separation between church and state enshrined in the Constitution.
As the above quote indicates Foxman is intellectually dishonest. He intentionally confuses the so-called Jewish Bill Of Rights to which Ford was objecting with the US Bill of Rights associated with the Constitution. He knows that Ford is referring to the Jewish Bill Of Rights when Cameron writes “Jewish rights seem to be summed up in the right to banish everything from their sight and hearing that suggest Christianity or its Founder.”
The Constitution is available for all to read and ponder but the Jewish Bill of Rights has sagely been withdrawn and is nowhere to be found. Abe, almost facetiously, recognizes this knowing that but few have ever heard of the Jewish Bill Of Rights while none of us have actually been able to read it. He maliciously then accuses Ford of wishing to deny Jews constitutional rights as American citizens. An outright lie if there ever was one.
Further, Ford was telling the truth as anyone observing Jewish efforts to ban Christmas and even Halloween in schools and public places today can attest.
Abe then tries to justify specious claims by saying “these so-called “ attacks on Christianity were reasonable Jewish objections to governmental expressions of Christianity which clearly violated the separation between church and state enshrined in the constitution.
None of it! They were expressions of the people without any reference to governmental intervention. They were the vox populi. Enshrined in the Constitution! Give us a break.
Christmas in schools and public places is not clearly a governmental expression of Christianity; however what Abe probably really objects to is that it is an expression of an Aryan solstice custom with a very pagan Santa Claus as a symbol.
Lest Abe accuse me a defender of Christianity or any Semitic religion we all should know that whole Bible-Talmudic trash is total Arien Age bullshit. We’d all be better off without it. That would settle the church/synagogue-government Constitutional conflict wouldn’t it? Let’s work it out together Abe. Finish Henry’s work.
Now, the people who didn’t send the AJC questionnaire back or did so with adverse comments were placed on a Jewish blacklist just as I have been today. Some of my essays are republished by the ADL on their site as examples of anti-Semitism. Who says so Abe? You? That’s defamation of my good name, Abe.
So, as Ford had been black listed in 1919 as an anti-Semite it follows that his retort to the tort was to begin publishing articles exposing Jewish machinations. Tit for tat. Turnabout is fair play.
Still Ford was portrayed as the aggressor. A lunatic anti-Semite with a ‘hole’ in his heart against angelic defenseless Jews.
As important and central as the Jews were was there anything else happening in America that might have attracted Ford’s attention? Well, a few things and they found their way into the vast majority of the Independent’s pages. Coming out of the war the America of the New Era was in upheaval. There was a seeming sharp break between 1914 and 1920. Newspapers were becoming more sensational by the day. Bernarr Macfadden was out there. Watch out! As has been said ‘when the music changes the walls of the city shake. And music was changing very rapidly. Not only changed but become ubiquitous with the success of radio and the phonograph record. Jazz, Hillbilly, Blues anything even classical music could be heard with the turn of a knob or crank. And the dances! Gone were the stately dances of Henry’s youth replaced by the Grizzly Bear, Bunny Hop, the Charleston and Black Bottom. Nothing compared to today’s twerking, lap dancing and other direct terpsichorean imitations of coitus. Henry saw it coming being the prescient sort he was. He was on the money.
Bobbed hair, skirts up to here but not quite there, Jesus! And lawlessness fueled by prohibition! Not quite the lawlessness of today but I doubt if anyone could have seen that coming short of Billy the Kid and the Daltons. Ford was aghast at all the social expressions of the twenties longing for a return to the good old days just before the introduction of his Model T.
The Jews only saw a little bit of what Ford was saying and their reaction was immediate. The ‘defenseless’ Jews struck back led by Louis Marshall. Marshall ridiculed Ford for stating that the movies were Jewish controlled. Such audacity on the part of Marshall. The leading film maker at the time William Fox turned his cameras on Fords and gave Henry hell. I find it incredible that Fox had, I read this and can’t believe it’s true, fifty percent of the market in the early twenties including for a time an exclusive on newreels with his MovieTone News.
Fox refused to use the Model T in any of his obviously numerous movies while Movie Tone News shot every accident a Ford car was in that they could find. Oh, defenseless?, I should say so.
As an interesting aside, in the late twenties when the NYC money men were consolidating the movie industry Fox saw no need to be consolidated thus placing himself in the way of progress. The money men destroyed him combining the rump of Fox Pictures with Twentieth Century to form Twentieth Century-Fox with no Fox in sight. As the waters closed above him Fox had the chutzpah to ask Ford to rescue him.
It’s interesting that today’s Fox network dropped the Twentieth Century and resuscitated William Fox’s name.
The Jews then were searching anxiously for a legal excuse to bring Ford down. This was provided in 1924 when Aaron Sapiro brought his lawsuit against Ford on very specious, one might say, nonexistent grounds.
Abe the Fox in his disingenuous way says that the International Jew did not portray Jews as individuals, but as a single minded, calculating cabal. Apparently Abe isn’t aware that the millennium with the whole Jewish people as the messiah was being fought out at the time. Abe is not correct as the title The International Jew indicates Ford was referring only to that cabal of Jews such as the AJC’s Jacob Schiff and Louis Marshall who were in fact functioning as part of an international government looking after the interests of Jews throughout the world. Some few years after Ford’s forged apology the Jewish World Congress was formed adding it to the organizations who were shepherding the worldwide Jewish flock.
Ford rather fatuously divided the Jewish people into one group of regular people and the other group of international Jews while the regulars had no idea what the IJs were doing in the Jewish name. In fact this division could have been demonstrated although all Jews went through the same education, indoctrination and conditioning so that there did exist a collective hive mind that could be relied on. Thus when Aaron Sapiro filed his suit it became clear that the issue was not the issue of his being somehow maligned but the whole Jewish people had been also hence the need for ‘hate’ speech legislation.
One sometimes feels embarrassed by Abe Foxman’s circumlocutions. Nothing is clearer than that Ford’s international Jews became involved in the litigation. Louis Marshall himself forged Ford’s so-called apology and for what anybody knows signed it himself. But, on to the litigation.
The account of Victoria Saker Woeste appears in the journal of the American Bar Foundation. The ABF defines itself as the nation’s leading research institute for the empirical study of law. Located in Chicago it says that it is an organization dedicated to advancing justice through rigorous research on the law, legal processes, and the laws impact on society.
Nevertheless Miss Woeste begins with the sentence: This project examines a well known event in the life of Henry Ford- a 1927 federal libel lawsuit against him and his anti-Semitic newspaper- from the perspective of the people who sought to stop him.
So at the outset Miss Woeste admits her account is biased. So much for the empiricism of the ABF and its concern for justice.
While Miss Woeste limits her investigation to the perspective of her fellow Jews I think I can be a little more inclusive.
First, let’s put Henry Ford into perspective. Ford was not a man of the present or the future, he was a man of the past. His formative period ended with the perfection of the Model T. To him the auto was a continuation of the buggy. The first Fords were essentially self-propelled buckboards. The Model T was meant for people to enjoy the world as it was, not as the Model T would change it.
When ‘progress’ presented the world with the New Era- the twenties- Ford rejected it completely, he didn’t like anything about it. He tried to re-establish the past, now containing his Model T. It should be noted in this context that the Model T did not substantially change from 1908 to 1926.
The results of unrestricted immigration apparently caught both him and the nation by surprise but he manfully tried to reconstruct his world in the pre-war image as did the nation through restriction of immigration.
The course of business propelled him then into a future as unrecognizable to him as the New Era. While Ford’s was not the first billion dollar company it was the first created by one man; and in the incredible short time of a mere decade.
The heading of his newspaper describes it as The International Dearborn Independent. Ford himself had established his company as a huge international corporation represented in nearly every country on earth. Like the British Empire Ford could say that the sun never set on his dealerships.
His was a totally vertically integrated company. He owned mines for metals, forests and shipping companies. His freighters could be seen out on Lake Huron bearing a huge F-O-R-D amidships. As one exercise in efficiency his company once manufactured a completed auto from his own iron ore and own blast furnaces to the roll out of the black painted Tin Lizzie in twenty-four hours. A mind boggling achievement.
This is an aside: Ford has been criticized for saying when asked why he offered no other colors than black, ‘they can have any color they want so long as its black.’ Through the decades this has been considered a most arrogant statement. However, today the only colors offered as standard by most auto companies are black or white. You have to pay extra for any other color. Henry should have thought of that one. But today you can have any color you want so long as it’s black or white unless you want to fork over another thousand dollars.
When glass companies couldn’t turn out the quantities of glass he needed Ford’s technicians took over a glass company, devised a method to mass produce glass and showed the glass makers how to do it. And the list goes on and on. This was one amazing man.
Unfortunately as a man of the past he failed to keep up with or incorporate new advances into his Model T. Or possibly he couldn’t add them and keep his price the lowest in the industry. He never thought of add-ons I guess. GM’s Chevy turned out a better cheap car than Ford although the price was higher, people began to approve of the improvements edging the Chevy closer to top sales. By 1925 it became clear to Ford that he had to bring the Ford into a new present. He couldn’t become a me too Chevy and just add its improvements; he had to leap frog over the Chevy.
In 1927 then he closed Ford’s doors for eight months to redesign his car. The new Model was the most sensational auto introduction of all time.
The libel trial was artfully brought to court in 1927 as an harassed Ford was struggling to design and get the Model A into production. He had always stretched himself too thin but the problems of the new car and the libel trial was too much for him to bear. Thus, it was either the new Model A or the trial. As unpleasant as it may have been Ford opted for the Model A and abandoned the trial.
Aaron Sapiro then began the suit in 1924 after the series of twenty articles in the Independent exposing his machinations appeared.
Were the articles slanderous? No more so than any expose and the Jews were famous for writing exposes with the intent to destroy the objects of their books and articles. In point of fact it appears that Sapiro and his associates were trying for a corner in commodities of all sorts both in the US and Canada, that is internationally. Had they succeeded would they not have connected new world commodity markets with old world commodity markets also in the control of Jews? It would have been foolish if they had not, wouldn’t it? Would Aryans attempting the same thing have denied it?
I can’t believe Sapiro’s activities weren’t apparent to the interested observer. Nor can there be any doubt that if he had succeeded in organizing the producers who would remain producers and not become administrators while Sapiro and his associates would administer the ‘co-op.’ So who was going to make the money whether crops were good or bad?
I was once a member of the UAW, the United Auto Workers. In other words Walter Reuther and his UAW organized the commodity of unskilled labor in auto manufacturing. Reuther and his union goons then had to be paid for their efforts. They set their own wages and benefits to manage our commodity of labor.
We of the commodity then paid them dues withdrawn from our wages by our employer- Fisher Body of GM in this instance, which paid them to the union because we the commodity couldn’t be trusted individually to voluntarily pay up. They were wise in this.
Now, it only cost the union X dollars to manage our affairs. But Reuther and his goons charged X times 4 more or less leaving them with a huge excess. This made no sense to we of the commodity. Adding insult to injury Reuther and his goons used this excess for their own purposes. They made political contributions and donations according to their own prejudices that I couldn’t approve of. Reuther himself built a lodge for himself and union execs at a very exclusive lake that we the commodity paid for but would never be allowed to use and bought a plane to fly himself in and out.
So obviously Reuther exploited his commodity and its producers for his own benefit and that of his cronies.
Alright. What would have been the result of Sapiro and his associates efforts? According to Miss Woeste and her Henry Ford’s War On The Jews before the war Sapiro reported an annual income of 80,000 dollars not counting expenses. To put that into perspective in today’s dollars that might be as much eight million dollars depending on your multiplier.
The farmers knew they were getting bilked and began to turn away from him. According to Miss Woeste by the time Sapiro sued Ford he had already peaked being distrusted within the farm community. In essence his career was over. Perhaps that is why he filed a million dollar suit against Ford. Remember in today’s dollar the would be twenty or thirty million.
He appears to have had a weak position so that is why he shifted the issue to anti-Semitism. But what does Sapiro say of his motives? Miss Woeste quotes him, p.143.
As an individual I was immaterial: but I was there as a representative, first, of the cooperative marketing movement, and second, as a representative of the Jews [the whole Jewish people] who were trying in their own ways to bring social light to disorganized industry in America.
So he says the suit wasn’t about his own insignificant self. No, no. Pure altruism. He had two grander objectives that he says he represented, that of the cooperative movement that had been existing pretty well without him and the dissimilar objective of the Jews. He characterized the Jews as trying to impose their vision of industrial organization on the hopeless mess created by the Aryans.
This last objective was not dissimilar to what Ford was claiming he was doing qua the Jews. We know what reward Sapiro had already received in wages and what he was claiming from Ford but what was the reward he thought the Jews expected for setting America aright? A million dollars? Get serious! Leadership? Preeminence? The reins of government? Well, wasn’t that what Ford was claiming?
Compare Sapiro’s vision to that of Irving Berlin who wrote God Bless America at about this same time: ‘Stand beside her and guide her’ [America]. Berlin was addressing the Jews in his song, telling him what they should do. So, once again, we have an incompetent disorganized America needing the help of the omniscient Jews to bring social light and guidance. This was exactly Ford’s claim or part of it.
In his quest for personal profit from the accusation of anti-Semitism, and anti-Semitism is in the eye of the beholder, that Sapiro was asking for he was opposed by no less than the Pres. Of the American Jewish Committee Louis Marshall who scented the beginnings of a race racket by exploiting Jewishness that he feared would backfire on them. At that point then Marshall did not want Sapiro to win the suit. It was in his interest to see a mistrial to prevent Ford from winning on one hand and from Sapiro’s profiting on the other.
A mistrial was called because of jury tampering although it is not clear who tampered with the jury.
Thus when Ford was in the trammels of trying to invent the V8 and the Model A his attention would have been diverted if not consumed by a new trial. At this point Marshall brushed Sapiro aside stepping in to free Ford for more important work demanding an apology to the Jews as a whole in full compensation. Sapiro more or less went broke with this long and very expensive trial.
In a forgery of no less magnitude than the Protocols Of Zion that ostensibly started the trial Marshall himself drew up every obsequious confession of anti-Semitism or, in other words, ‘hate’ speech that according to Miss Woeste was the true purpose of the trial laying the foundation for the Jewish ‘hate’ laws enacted in our day.
Marshall’s forging of the apology was not enough, still not content with only an apology the Jews continued their war on Henry Ford waging a campaign of defamation that has not ceased with Ford’s death in 1948 as Miss Woeste’s book attests. An endless stream of defamatory books condemning Ford has been emitted from that day to this. In her book Miss Woeste might better have said the Jews war on Ford or at the very best with.
As Miss Woeste says, hers is the first book that examines the Sapiro suit in detail making her effort valuable from that point of view. Unfortunately the book is so polemical that it can’t really qualify as a history. Indeed, one is amazed that a university press of Stanford’s stature would even issue it without heavy editing and guidance. They should have stood beside Miss Woeste and pointed toward the true academic path.
Still, I do find uses for the volume.

The Faerie Queene Of The Sixties
Would anybody like to try the changes I’m going through?
Life at best is difficult. Change after difficult change presents itself. Of necessity life is lived on the fly. One must always deal with fixtures and forces one cannot comprehend on first confrontation. In a way then we can hardly be responsible for the decisions we make unless we have enough experience to interpret that with which we are confronted correctly. At any point a controlling psychological fixation through misinterpretation may cause to act against our best interests. All further experience then will be interpreted through and disturbed by one or more fixations in our subconscious of which we probably are not aware.
Sexually Marianne was probably confused by the sexual scenes she observed at her father’s Braziers Institute contrasted with her subsequent teaching of abstinence at St. Joseph’s Convent School. The confusions conflicted her sexual attitudes in later life, attitudes she was unaware of and never resolved.
Once she left her father’s governance passing into that of her mother’s she lived not in poverty but in relative hardship; luxuries if experienced at all were few and far between yet she did received an upper class education and outlook at St. Joseph’s.
Her mother was apparently strongly Bohemian having been involved with the stage pre-WWII. She encouraged Marianne in the Bohemian direction which Marianne found congenial, sought and never abandoned. The girl was interested in the stage while becoming a Joan Baez style folk singer after leaving convent school in Reading at seventeen.
While not beautiful in any classic sense she was yet attractive with a great figure making her a desirable sexual object. The sixties was the decade of wide open sex making all women mere sexual objects. Her first reaction was to seek a stable married life choosing John Dunbar as an appropriate husband. Dunbar was Bohemian in outlook while apparently headed for an academic career.
At this point fate intervened. At a party with Dunbar she met the record producer Andrew Loog Oldham who perceived her persona as a marketable commodity in the pop music world. As an added bonus Marianne could actually sing, having performed as a folk singer.
She was still an impressionable girl of just seventeen just after the Pill had been introduced with little ability to successfully traverse the changes she would be called upon to go through. These would be formidable and rapid calling for huge energy reserves on a day to day basis. Not an enviable situation.
While most musicians go through a relatively long learning process and struggle to succeed Marianne struck gold the first time out without even trying. Her first minimal three minute effort, if it was an effort, established her as the pop princess or queen of the generation. Her innocent convent school persona was perfect in a vulgar world. But it was a persona at odds with the one Marianne would seek and embrace- she became the devil with a blue dress on.
While the music or, really, record business seems very attractive from a distance it is literally vile from the inside. Everything connected with it is dishonest, the record companies, musicians, lackeys, the whole number. Nobody remains unstained.
It is truly a man’s world, even a gay man’s world, in which the men have no respect for womankind. Women are expected to merely service the sexual desires of the male performers. They have no use beyond that. Thus one has the phenomenally debauched groupie scene that amazed the world during the sixties. After that there was no longer anything amazing.
Having witnessed sex acts at Braziers of numerous descriptions the pop music world satisfied this side of Marianne’s psyche. At the same time a desire for a chaste life pushed her in the direction of marriage with Dunbar which desire she consummated, however Dunbar proved to be not the ideal choice.
While Marianne thought she would be leading a sedate intellectual academic life with him as a professor he turned out to be as much or more a Bohemian as she was. Quite frankly he failed her.
Having acquired a wife he did not act responsibly toward her. He was blindsided by her recording success and perhaps belittled by her financial success. In effect he was supported by his wife which is always a difficult situation. The changes he faced were in themselves formidable and he didn’t have the character to meet them. Still, a man doesn’t fill his house with dopers and heroin addicts. Marianne can hardly be faulted for resenting it after getting up in the morning to find a house full of conked out junkies in rooms littered with used needles. The transition from Braziers to St. Joseph’s to high degeneration must have been changes hard to adapt to. Sent her head spinning.
The change from the straitened circumstances of her childhood and youth still actually in progress to one of affluence in which she could indulge her wildest fancies in buying clothes and more clothes. Her lack of maturity hurt her badly. In this case her hero William Blake’s notion that the road of excess leads to wisdom was not quite true, it led to penury.
Not clearly seen by many at the time the pop world split into two streams, the British pop stream of the fifties soon to be extinct and the Rock world of pop princes and princesses of the future. The Beatles straddled both worlds while curiously Marianne may have been the first to emerge as a star of the Rock world soon to be followed by the Rolling Stones.
As such even though having only one hit single to her name she was on a par with the Beatles and the Stones while being superior to the lesser groups following in the train of the Beatles and Stones. Thus in the salon formed around the pop art dealer Robert Fraser she held a place of primacy that she never realized. Her tragedy was that she was too young and inexperienced to grasp her opportunity making a series of inept decisions while being seen only as so much poontang by the Rockers and of transitory fame by a series of inept managers.
Thus, unable to find someone capable of carefully building her career she did become transitory, or her career going into hiatus, she did lose her place while gravitating to the dominance of Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones. Gradually her royalties diminished so that she was financially dependent on Jagger while still married to John Dunbar. Deep in a milieu of drug users she found their allure irresistible.
However conscious she was that she had been and still was to some extent a celebrity she thought to regain that identity. Feeling unable to compete with Jagger as a recording star she chose to follow her mother’s wishes and take up acting. In her enthusiasm to and need to show Jagger that she was somebody too, that she was his equal, as a performing artist she aroused Jagger’s interest in also being a movie star. He, being a more marketable commodity soon gave evidence of eclipsing her as an actor rather than staying in recording as she assumed he would.
Her own space having been preempted she developed an affinity for Brian Jones of the Stones who was essentially in her situation in his relation to the group. He too was being forced out thereby losing his identity.
When Brian died she then in sympathy decided to follow him overdosing with pills that would have killed her had not Jagger been alert enough to rush her to the hospital. As much as anything her suicide attempt was meant to get away from Jagger’s dominance. That move now being thwarted she had no choice but to walk out which she did in 1970. Thus began the rest of her life.
The Rock and Art scene was a drug scene. Bob Fraser’s salon centered around Rock musicians was also a drug center. Fraser introduced members of his salon to all drugs including heroin. Marianne had a favored position in Fraser’s salon early learning of heroin to which Fraser himself was addicted. By the time she walked out on Jagger in 1970 she had been addicted for some time. Heroin was to remain her central fixation throughout her life.
Jagger disapproved of her addiction so she was forced to conceal it from him. When her royalties decreased she no longer had her own money becoming dependent on Jagger. Not wishing to plead for large sums of money from Jagger in order to obtain her heroin she prostituted herself to Keith Richard’s factotum Spanish Tony Sanchez.
Sanchez was an aspiring criminal who came to Richards through Groovy Bob Fraser. Sanchez had met Fraser in a bar after which the friendship blossomed. Fraser had contracted gambling debts to the notorious Kray Brothers, the criminal kingpins of London. The Krays were threatening Fraser with grievous bodily harm if they didn’t get their money. According to Sanchez in his autos Up And Down With The Rollings Stones and I was Keith Richard’s Drug Dealer he volunteered to negotiate the debt with the Krays which he did.
At that time, following their US Mafia model, the Krays were attempting to lift the Beatles from Brian Epstein who also had large gambling debts to them so there is no reason to disbelieve Sanchez. Following the episode with Fraser Sanchez was employed by Richards as drug/procurer-factotum at the fabulous salary of two hundred fifty pounds a week. This leads me to believe that the Krays were using Sanchez to infiltrate the Stones possibly with the intent of taking them over.
Sanchez was always resented by Richards and the Stones but he managed to stick with them until the mid seventies when Richards was able to shake him. In his vanity Sanchez considered himself an essential member of the Stones’ entourage, if not an actual member of the Stones.
Marianne’s misfortune was that everyone wanted to sleep with her, a further misfortune was that she obliged. Thus she and Tony had a sexual liaison for several years. This raises the question then whether Tony was also pimping for her. Certainly as his criminal associates knew he was sleeping with her they would want to also. Not being a fool Tony may have named a price and received it. Whether he or she could have successfully resisted is open to question. The US Mafia certainly used their female artists to gratify their desires.
In the mid sixties additionally, once again, through Fraser Marianne had become part of the Satanic crowd. Through Fraser she was introduced to the arch US Satanist, Kenneth Anger. Through them she was introduced to the writing of Great Satanist of the twentieth century, Aleister Crowley and also the writing of the nineteenth century French arch Satanist, Eliphas Levi, not Jewish despite the name. And then the modern Satanist classic the Russian Bulgakov’s The Master And Margarita published in 1968.
Also in this period she became involved with the Satanist Process Church Of The Final Judgment. Marianne downplays her involvement with Satanism but it was much more serious than she is willing to admit.
Playing against this background Marianne renewed an acquaintance with the Irishman Lord Patrick Rossmore. He was 43 to her 24. I merely mention this, it makes me no never mind what the ages are so long as the couple is comfortable with each other. In this case they weren’t comfortable. The two, in a sort of a farce became engaged but never married parting as they met in a friendly sort of way within several months.
While Mick was aggressively dominating, Marianne seems to have chosen Lord Rossmore because shy and retiring as he was she could dominate him. According to Hodkinson the couple rarely saw each other, he being in Ireland while Marianne remained in London closer to her dope supply.
True to her interpretation of William S. Burroughs degenerate novel, Naked Lunch, she led a totally debased and degraded life as a street junkie or, at least, her version of it. Remember it was her movie of Marianne and she was pretending to be a sociologist. She cultivated the friendship of total degenerates such as the artists Francis Bacon and Lucien Freud. She also became friends with the total junkie, writer Alexander Trocchi. Also at this time becoming fast friends with another lowlife, Henrietta Moraes who she says was a close friend until she died. Marianne was able to sink to lower levels than any of these people and gloried in it.
It was during this period of 1970-71 that she says she sat on the wall in Soho staring into the bomb crater. In his first biography Hodkinson scoffed at this. According to him this wall was a waiting station lined with junkies alert for their supply.
By 1971 the Stones had become tax exiles in the South of France so that Spanish Tony was with Keith no longer able to supply Marianne with her drugs, thus, we suppose, the wall. As Marianne had no regular income during this period, although adequate royalty checks still arrived irregularly, there does arise the question of how she paid for her dope. As a junkie Marianne had no qualms about running up tabs she couldn’t pay and apparently didn’t. At one point she boasts she left New York owing several dealers 20K each while flippantly adding she had no intention of ever paying. Whether she succeeded or not is not known.
Marianne vehemently denies that she resorted to prostitution although there is a fair amount of circumstantial evidence she did. A careful reading of her second auto, Memories, Dreams And Reflections, gives some hints. At one point she retorts to an admirer that she is not a two-bit prostitute, that it would take 200 pounds to be with her. Perhaps a joke but the price sounds right, her retort has the ring of authenticity.
In the same auto she claims first hand acquaintance with all the working girls of the area. There is only one way such first hand knowledge could be obtained. There is or was a video on the internet in which a camera had been placed within a building between two half open doors. Marianne dressed in some pretty snappy expensive looking working girl gear walks in front of the camera, notices it, shows alarm, then quickly turns a corner then flattening herself against the wall to peer back at the camera. It seems evident that she was going to or returning from a job.
She seems to have worked from 1970-71 through at least 1974 through her association with Madeleine D’Arcy. In 1971- during the recording of Exile On Main Street when Tony Sanchez accompanied Keith to the South of France Tony met Madeleine with whom he fell deeply in love and had a relationship with her in France.
Upon returning to England he apparently resumed some sort of relationship with Marianne as well as Madeleine. Marianne in her turn began a lesbian relationship with Madeleine, perhaps to spite Tony, who she despised personally, or so she says. Tony was angry at the relationship.
It then appears that Marianne and Madeleine functioned as high price prostitutes or perhaps call girls between ‘72 to ‘74. In ‘74 Madeleine as Marianne recalls had gone back to turning fifteen pound tricks in Brighton. ’Going back’ implies that formerly she received higher payouts, perhaps 200+ as Marianne received.
As she hadn’t heard from Madeleine for a little while she called at her apartment. When no one answered she called a couple bravos to break down the door. One was a Maltese pimp and drug dealer. At that time in London the Maltese are said to have controlled crime in the West End. That Marianne could call on them to supply help implies a certain degree of familiarity with the underworld. The other person’s identity Marianne doesn’t indicate so there is the possibility it could have been Tony. When no one answered the door the two men broke it down.
Entering the apartment Madeleine was found dead on her bed. She had apparently been beaten to death although not molested as she was artfully laid out in a beautiful full gown. Thus whoever killed her loved her. This points to Tony although the crime was never solved.
So, if Marianne says she never turned to prostitution perhaps not, but there is sufficient evidence to indicate she did. The whole period from 1970-1974 is very hazy in her memoirs.
While she was supposedly incognito on the streets of Soho, as if Marianne could ever be incognito, lost to view of the music world, Michael Leander, who had been her producer suddenly got the idea to make an LP with her so he beat the bushes, scoured the walls so to speak, like any good detective, tracking her down in Soho supposedly sitting on her wall staring into the bomb pit. He induced her back into the studio where they recorded the LP Rich Kid Blues, a return to Marianne’s folk roots.
For some reason the record was shelved not being released until decades later. After this she took up with Oliver Musker who she was associated with for the two years from ’72 to ’74.
The Myth Of Marianne
For all her emotional problems Marianne was a bright girl. She read. Among her readings were those of the psychologist C.G. Jung. Among Jung’s ideas was that of the personal myth. By that he means everyone must have a personal myth to survive, to make sense of what one is doing or what is happening to you. This was more or less the same notion of Andy Warhol’s that if you don’t like the way your life is going pretend it’s a movie. That’s a sort of displacement so what’s happening is just a script that was written for you. Your own personal myth. Lots of people were living in their own movie.
It seems probable, in observing Marianne’s life, that she came across Jung’s observation and set about creating her myth. For proper understanding I quote Jung: p. 197 of the Red Book as quoted in the introduction by Sonu Shamdesani:
I was driven to ask myself in all seriousness: “what is the myth you are living?” I found no answer to the question and had to admit that I was not living with a myth, but rather in an uncertain cloud of theoretical possibilities which I was beginning to regard with increasing distrust…
So in the most natural way, I took on myself to know “my” myth– so I told myself– how could I, when treating my patients, make due allowance for the personal factor, for my personal equation, which is yet so necessary for a knowledge of the other person, if I was unconscious of it.”
During the period of 1970 ‘72 Marianne had fallen on the hardest times, the lack of a model for her life. It seems obvious that the wall bit is perhaps a metaphor for her mental state while sunk into her heroin addiction which perhaps had led to other unsavory activities.
If she really thought she was incognito amongst the street people and shopkeepers who she tells us were wonderful to her, what would have been just another junkie earning money by any means necessary, she is either misremembering or was oblivious to the truth. Marianne was a nationally recognized figure on TV and records who had won the hearts of the people. If anything, one can only think that they wondered how she could have fallen so low but in a manner they still revered the image she had been. On the other hand she says guys drove by and yelled ‘you dirty slag’ out the window. Marianne was in denial.
Without a myth of herself that was all she could do. I don’t know when after her fall from grace in 1967 she had read Jung to conceive of creating her myth but the period after 1970 has certainly been mythologized. Remember she titled her second auto Memories Dream And Reflections which just happens to be the title of Jung’s own auto without the And.
As it was necessary for Marianne to form a new persona after the Redlands bust it appears that the persona began taking shape during this period of extreme depression from ‘70 to ‘72. When she met Musker and perhaps even Leander recorded Rich Kid Blues with her, she began to form the myth and regain an identity and perhaps sanity.
Musker led to Ben Brierly which was a key recovery period and then later she grabbed hold of the supreme works of despair and depression, the works of Brecht and Weil. God, that’s hurting.
All her associates in the mid seventies were Creatures From The Black Lagoon. Black Lagoon was one of the great psychological sci-fi parodies of the fifties. Freud’s vision of the unconscious dominated the period so in Lagoon some ‘scientists’, always portrayed as evil themselves, discover a black lagoon in the Brazilian jungles. The circular pool, of course, represents Freud’s vision of the unconscious in which demons and monsters lurk so the Creature, stirred up by the scientists, perhaps it may be read as psycho-analysts, emerges in all his horror dripping with weeds from the black lagoon. Coulda been me I thought as I sat watching.
So, Burroughs, Gysin, Ginsburg, Corso, Bacon, Lucien Freud,, Moraes, all the people a reasonable person would run from. No matter how attractive they may appear on the printed page they were much less so in person. I’ve met a few of them and, shall we say, I knew I would never fit in.
Marianne did fit in. She was beginning to reconcile her Braziers Park sexual education with her high Catholic teaching. Andy Warhol said if your life is not going as you like it, pretend it’s a movie. Marianne was in the unique position where she could live her myth in movies, on the stage and on phonograph records as well as in real life. In her mind she could make it work but real life upsets things once in a while. Plus Marianne in her reading read William Blake whose line ‘the road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom’ was the mantra of the whole junkie crowd as well as Marianne’s. Who would be seduced by bull shit like that? Beaudelaire, Rambeau and the French Symbolists also provided such like justification for the path she was on. Thus Marianne was able to justify her myth by such philosophy.
Marianne could thus justify sexual excesses, perhaps even prostitution, as drinking the cup to the dregs on the path to wisdom. At the same time she was able to split her personality in a Braziers/St. Joseph’ contrast so that she could remain ‘pure’ while sympathizing with the plight of all those unfortunate prostitutes she knew so well. That actually was a sort of Rich Kid Blues so Leander was perhaps more prescient than Marianne thought.
Marianne who had many acting offers during these years and at least one serious role with Roman Polanski all of which she blew ostensibly because of her heroin addiction but also possibly because as she felt so degraded she didn’t think she deserved success because of Redlands. At any rate she was the darling of the counter culture and remains so down and out or not.
Oliver Musker an old Etonian met her through Christopher Gibbs who paled with Bob Fraser at a party in 1972 so she wasn’t so incognito that she wasn’t attending parties. Still her addiction was obvious enough that Musker wanted to save her. Therefore he took control and put her in rehab. But what’s rehab to an addict? Perhaps a time out. Of course Marianne says Musker saved her life. Well, romance, romance, romance.
Musker was an apparent stable interlude in Marianne’s self-destructive course. He kept her on a more or less even keel for these two years. No less destitute than she had ever been Marianne accepted a role filmed in India titled Ghost Story. Not quite the hardship Marianne attests, indeed, very glamorous to anyone in her fan base and elsewhere.
She and Musker traveled to India and from there to Hong Kong. So she was leading a life many could envy. Not too much is available about Musker but he apparently found India congenial as a business opportunity. He currently runs a furniture factory out of Delhi.
But he was an overbearing, dominant sort enforcing his will with violence. He knocked out Marianne’s upper two front teeth. When he tried to manage Marianne’s career he became too much for her and they parted company. Or, perhaps, Musker was just a crutch to get her over a very rough patch. By 1974 perhaps she thought she no longer needed him.
And then as part of the road of excess leading to the palace of wisdom Musker was a type of male and as part of her identity she was to experiment with different types. That would lead to her future second husband Ben Brierly. The music scene about to transit the very destructive Punk era so, perhaps Marianne saw it as chance to revive her recording career.
As I see it Marianne went into shock after Redlands. The shame of the Mars bar bit was too much for her psyche to handle. The court’s denial of the chance to defend herself and possibly explain was an egregious insult that she could find no way to handle. This kind of shock takes time to digest and find some way to regain one’s composure. Thus Marianne’s life from that point to her suicide attempt in 1969 can be explained in that context.
Her rejection of Mick can largely be explained as the aftermath of Redlands.
Marianne had been used as sex object once she entered the record industry. It was a role she didn’t reject apparently being a hot mama. But as one matures one finds ways to use as well as be used. Thus after 1969 Marianne turned predator using her sexual desirability to turn predator herself.
She stayed with Lord Rossmore after leaving Mick while she used Musker to regain some balance although kicking heroin is just a mirage junkies pursue. One grows weary of their stories of becoming ‘clean.’ At best after Musker she discovered her limits although she really tested them.
While I don’t think it’s true, Marianne felt that Mick was a superior musician to herself. Marianne let the notion destroy her self-confidence. Jagger is no singer, has no voice, is a mediocre lyricist, can’t dance but is a great showman with a burning desire to corrupt society.
Marianne’s problem was that she couldn’t find the proper agent or musical guide. Issuing four albums in 1965 was a crass error for which she was apparently responsible. She took no time to enter the spirit of the songs while many of the backing arrangements are revolting. Nevertheless she was Marianne.
Having felt herself overshadowed by Mick she now picked the poor shlub Ben to musically dominate and overshadow in revenge on Mick. As she left Musker she was emerging from the horrible reaction to Redlands while finding a musical persona to allow her to go on living the pop life she had learned to appreciate.
In keeping with her newly found myth combined with the Blake/Symbolist fantasy of plumbing the depths in search of the pearl of great price she embraced Brierly’s punk life style living in squalor in desperate squats. During this period she was forming the persona that would emerge with her 1979 release of Broken English. That record reestablished her musical credentials while providing her with a substantial cash windfall. She might as well have worked for nothing as she took a 90K check and promptly blew it on clothes and drugs. In some ways Marianne was a real slow learner.
She was able to disburse her cash faster than Edie Sedgwick threw away her 80K inheritance. Edie had no hopes for another windfall although Marianne did.
Broken English was a boundary line between the middle Marianne and what came after.
Chapter IX will follow but I have other projects first.
